Some big news, Macy’s shoppers: Macy’s has announced that their annual Black Friday sales will go live starting Tuesday, Nov. 24.

This means you can have access to some of the best deals of the year a whole TWO DAYS EARLY — while the turkey’s still in the fridge.

You’ll want to focus up. Here’s what you need to know:

Black Friday sales will run Nov. 24 – 28.

Last year, online sales started a day earlier than the in-store sales. This year, whether you’re online, using the app, or headed to stores, the sale dates are the same.

That said, we expect that sales will start at 12:01 AM on Nov. 24 online, earlier than when stores open at 10 AM.

Cyber Monday sales will run Nov. 29 – 30.

They’ll most likely be open on Thanksgiving, but the plan for doorbusters isn’t exactly clear.

Macy’s famed doorbuster deals historically have been available from 5 PM Thanksgiving until 2 AM on Black Friday, and then again from 6 AM until 1 PM on Black Friday.

And when you shop during these times, you can score some free-after-rebate doorbusters.

But since Macy’s is starting the sale two days earlier, we might see doorbusters (and the free-after-rebate deals) going live on Tuesday.

Macy’s hasn’t yet joined the growing list of stores closing on Thanksgiving, so doorbusters might work the same as in past years.

Look for the Black Friday ad around Nov. 1.

In 2018, the Black Friday ad dropped Nov. 5. Last year, it was Nov. 12.

This year, since everybody seems to be getting a jump on the holiday shopping season, expect the release to happen closer to Nov. 1.

Speaking of Macy’s and the holidays — no parade this year.

The NYC mayor says there won’t be a live parade this year. How in the world are they going to “virtual” this?
