Soft Scrub has been a staple in my household for a long time and now I especially love it because there’s so many Soft Scrub uses and hacks that make life even easier. I use their lemon all purpose cleanser and cleanser with bleach to clean my countertops, bathroom, kitchen, my grill, and even my kids’ shoes — yes, really.
When Soft Scrub is on sale, I always stock up because of all the Soft Scrub uses I love. Here are my favorite Soft Scrub cleaning hacks.
1. Make white sneakers look brand new with Soft Scrub Antibacterial Cleanser with Bleach.
Every mom knows how expensive kids’ shoes are — and how dirty they can get. When my kid comes home with muddy sneakers, I use Soft Scrub and an old toothbrush to remove the dirt and disinfect in just a few minutes. But Soft Scrub also works great on stains, saving me from buying a new pair.
2. Soft Scrub All-Purpose Cleanser will remove grime and grease from your outdoor grill.
Grill brushes only go so far when you’ve been using your barbecue all summer long. Plus, wire bristles can be dangerous and cause injuries if they get stuck to the grill and are accidentally consumed at a future cookout. That’s why I started using Soft Scrub All-Purpose Cleanser, a scrub brush, and hot water to clean the grates. I use a towel to dry them after, just like I do when I’m cleaning my oven racks.
3. Use Soft Scrub Antibacterial Cleanser with Bleach to clean the dust and dirt between windowsills and screens.
I hate how much dust and dirt gets trapped between the glass windows and window screens throughout my house. Plus, it’s so hard to reach and clean those pesky corners. But then I started using an old toothbrush and Soft Scrub to get to those difficult areas. I let it sit for a few minutes after scrubbing and then wipe it with a damp paper towel. Now, I can get them clean in a fraction of the time.
4. Remove mold and mildew stains on patio furniture that’s been sitting outside all summer.
At the end of the summer, my white plastic chairs look rough! But a friend recommended using Soft Scrub with Bleach and then hosing them down afterwards. They look great and now I won’t have to spend money on new ones in the spring. (Note: If your patio furniture isn’t white, use the Lemon-Scented Soft Scrub Cleanser instead).
Soft Scrub Lemon has a minimum shelf life up to three years and Soft Scrub Cleanser with Bleach has a minimum shelf life of one year, so if you see a deal, it’s a sign to stock up.
