If you’re not getting top drugstore makeup brands like Covergirl, Rimmel, Almay, Maybelline or NYX for free, then you need to get a little krazy.

Do these three things to get free — or nearly free — makeup:

1) Follow our makeup deals page so you never miss out.

2) Download top rebate apps like Ibotta, Checkout51, and Cartwheel.

3) Sign up for drugstore loyalty programs.

Now you’re ready to turn all your highest-rated makeup favs into freebies — or close enough!

Here’s how:

1. Free: Covergirl blush

Covergirl offers coupons for up to $3/1 Covergirl product, making it one of the easiest brands to get for free.

Save your high-value coupon until you see a $3 cash back offer on any Covergirl purchase on Ibotta.

Combine the two on any Covergirl product priced $6 or less, like Classic Clean blush which retails for $5.29 (and has a 4.5 star Amazon rating). You’ll have a $0.71 moneymaker.

2. Nearly free: Rimmel mascara, $0.59

Walgreens often offers a $3/1 Rimmel coupon while their Rimmel collection is already on sale.

Just this week, I used their $3/1 Rimmel coupon on the Rimmel ScandalEyes Retroglam Mascara that was on sale for $3.59 (regularly $5.99).

The 4.5-star Rimmel mascara was nearly free at just $0.59.

3. Nearly free: Wet n Wild nail polish, $0.50

The Dollar Tree often stocks Wet n Wild nail polish and they accept coupons.

Wait for a $0.50/1 manufacturer coupon from Wet n Wild to get your favorite polish for just $0.50.

4. Nearly free: Maybelline foundation, $1.99

Shop Target, Walmart, CVS and Walgreens for the lowest prices on Maybelline, then stack promotional pricing with a $1-$3 off Maybelline coupon.

Target recently offered a “Buy 2, Get $5 Gift Card” promo on Maybelline products. I purchased two $5.99 Maybelline Fit Me! foundations and used my $2/1 manufacturer coupon.

I paid $8.98 and got a $5 Target gift card, which means I only spent $1.99 each.

5. Nearly free: Almay eyeshadow, $0.47

Hang on to your Almay $3/1 coupons until you see an Almay rebate on your Checkout51 app. The last Almay rebate we saw was for $1.50 back!

Combine the two on any Almay Shadow Squad, regularly priced $4.97 at Walmart with a 4-star rating on Amazon, and you’re looking mighty fine for $0.47!

6. Nearly free: NYX lip color, $1.99

We’ll alert you when CVS offers loyalty program Extrabucks on NYX lipsticks and glosses.

We recently saw NYX Butter lipstick on sale for $5.99, with $8.00 in Extrabucks when you purchased two.

The final price was just $1.99 each for 4.5-star NYX lipstick — 67% off!

7. Nearly free: Neutrogena towelettes, $2.04

Wait until you see a “10% off Neutrogena” promo on Target’s Cartwheel app. Pair the promo with a $2/1 Neutrogena coupon on the towelettes (regularly priced $4.49.)

I got 4.5-star rated Neutrogena towelettes for more than half off for $2.04 each.
