What is TurboTax?
TurboTax is an online tax filing service that allows you to do your taxes or have an expert assist you completely online. You can use their free edition, which allows W-2, child tax credits, and student loan interest. Anything else you’ll need to use their deluxe or better program depending on your tax needs.
If you don’t qualify for their free edition, you can still score $20 off any of their other programs to make sure your taxes are still completed correctly.
Here’s how to get the deal:
- Head to TurboTax.
- Click “more details” to compare the plans and select the one that applies to you.
- After selecting the plan, answer the question how you filed last year.
- Sign in or create and account to get started.
- Follow the filing prompts. After completing, finish your filing and you’ll be charged if you used a Deluxe or better plan.
