With the Starbucks Rewards program changes, you’re going to want to save as many Stars as you can for the more expensive point redemptions. Luckily, Starbucks is giving us a boost this Tuesday, Jan. 10 by bringing back Double Star Day.

To make the most out of your Starbucks Rewards account, make sure to use your points before Feb. 13 since that’s when the program will be changing for good.

This deal only lasts on Jan. 10, and not every Starbucks is participating, so make sure to check your Starbucks Rewards account to see if your local Starbucks is participating.

Activate Starbucks Double Star Day through the Starbucks app.

In order to get double “Stars” on your Starbucks order, you’re going to need to become a Starbucks Rewards member. Once you’ve joined, you’ll see a notification that it’s Double Star Day. When you click, “Activate now,” you’ll get double “Stars” on your purchases for the day.

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get double “Stars” on any Starbucks Card or Card Reloads. You also won’t be able to get points on any alcohol purchases made at a Starbucks Reserve.

Get a discounted Starbucks gift card to get ‘Stars’ at a discount.

Before you head into Starbucks, you should always load your account with discounted Starbucks gift cards from Raise.com. In the past, we’ve seen discounts go up to 4.3%, so make sure to grab them before they run out.

The best way to use your Starbucks ‘Stars’ is with the 50-tier redemption before Feb. 13.

If you’re looking to make the most out of your Starbucks Stars, you should use the 50 Star tier that offers you a free bakery item — up to a 15% cash-back reward.

However, once the Starbucks Rewards program changes on Feb. 13, the best reward tier will be the 300 Star tier with packaged coffee. However, you’ll only be gaining 4.7% back in rewards.
