Use $3.00/$18.00 – Colgate, CVS Store Coupon
Total out of pocket: $11.94
Receive: $17 in ExtraBucks
Final Price: $5.06 Moneymaker, when you buy 6

It’s a great week to stock up on oral care at CVS. There are a couple of deals on Colgate that would make for a significant moneymaker if you happen to have a store coupon to stack this week. Check it out:

  • Check your account for a store coupon for $3 off an $18 Colgate purchase. As always, store coupons may vary by user, but oral care coupons seem to be pretty common if you’ve ever bought toothpaste at CVS. I get store coupons for Colgate almost weekly.
  • Pick up four tubes of Colgate toothpaste that are on sale this week, two for $7.98. You’ll receive $6 ExtraBucks when you buy two. There’s a limit of two on this promotion, though, so you’ll actually receive $12 ExtraBucks for buying four. Download the store app and clip two separate $2/1 Colgate toothpaste digital coupons. For the second pair of Colgate toothpaste, check the Jan. 8 SmartSource (SS) insert for a $2/2 newspaper coupon.
  • To hit the $18 spend threshold for the store coupon, you’ll need to make one other Colgate purchase. Luckily, there’s an easy freebie on Colgate toothbrushes. They’re on sale for $4.49, plus you’ll receive $5 ExtraBucks when you two. Make sure to clip two separate Colgate toothbrush digital coupons to your ExtraCare account.
  • In order for the store coupon to apply, you’ll need to purchase all six items in the same transaction. All of the digital coupons that are clipped to your ExtraCare account will automatically deduct once you’ve entered your phone number or scanned your ExtraCare card during checkout. ExtraBucks are the CVS store currency that can be used to purchase nearly anything in stores. To really become a pro at shopping at CVS, you’ll want to roll your ExtraBucks until you reach the point where you’re barely spending anything out of pocket. Rolling means paying with ExtraBucks on a transaction where you’ll earn new ExtraBucks. Just make sure to use the full value on your next transaction, or you’ll forfeit any portion of the ExtraBucks you don’t use. Check out more tips on how to make the most of your ExtraBucks.
