- If you choose the physical SIM card, await your SIM card in the mail. If you chose the eSIM card, it’ll be delivered via email, and you can input it in your device to start your service.
What is Mint Mobile?
Mint Mobile is a new type of phone service that sells you a SIM card to activate your phone service. You can keep the phone you have, and you don’t have to lease or purchase a new phone to acquire service under Mint Mobile. It’s a less expensive option than the services that offer a leased phone or charge a monthly fee for the activation of your phone.
Is the Mint Mobile deal legit?
Bottom-line cost: It will depend on the GB plan you choose. If you choose the 5GB plan, you’ll pay $15 per month or $60 for the first three months. If you choose the Unlimited GB plan, you’ll pay $30 per month or $90 for the first three months.
When will I be charged? You’ll be charged immediately for the first three months. When you are checking out, you can decide whether it auto-renews at the 3-month mark. If you don’t opt in to that auto-renewal, you’ll need to be sure to get on before the 3-month mark to choose the next plan you are purchasing. You’ll always pay for the number of months your purchasing at the time of renewal.
When will it ship? Your SIM card will be shipped as soon as the order is processed, typically within one to two business days.
Will I need to cancel? You do pay for this service up front. If you’re a new member, you have seven days to decide if this service is what you were looking for. If not, you can submit a request for a refund. If you’re a returning customer and purchase a 12-month plan, there will be no refund issued if you choose to go to a different service provider before your 12 months is up.
