You can keep the phone you have, and you don’t have to lease or purchase a new phone to acquire service under Mint Mobile. It’s a less expensive option than the services that offer a leased phone or charge a monthly fee for the activation of your phone.

Is the Mint Mobile deal legit?

Bottom-line cost: It will depend on the GB plan you choose. If you choose the 5GB plan, you’ll pay $15 per month or $60 for the first three months. If you choose the Unlimited GB plan, you’ll pay $30 per month or $90 for the first three months.

When will I be charged? You’ll be charged immediately for the first three months. When you are checking out, you can decide whether it auto-renews at the 3-month mark.
