Something to do with how some audiobooks are formatted particularly the silence between sentences, particularly with Audible but Libby too results in the speaker cutting off the all or part of the first word of sentances making the book uninteligable. She wanted to use this while traveling instead of the larger JBL bluetooth speaker, but the JBL plays the same books from the same app & phone without the issue. Probably a chipset compatibility, no work-arounds have been found. If you use this for music – no issues at all; but audio book lovers will need to find somethign else.”
