You can never have too many basics. Stafford packs of three or four boxer briefs are currently down to $16.19 from $36 at JCPenney, making them $4 - $5 each as part of the JCPenney clearance sale. (FYI: I found the exact same ones going for $36.99 on Amazon in the cotton style and from $44.95 in the woven style.)
Shipping does add $8.95, so I recommend either buying two packs and taking advantage of the free store pickup option that some styles allow with $25.
