It happens every Aug. 4 (get it, 8/4?) and gives families a discounted room rate starting at $84 a night, which includes water park access.
We've seen this sale happen every year the past few years, and we're expecting it to come back for 2025. Assuming it does come back, you'll need to use a promo code found on Great Wolf Lodge's website.

The Great Wolf Lodge 8.4 Day sale gets its name from both the date it happens (Aug. 4) and the 84-degree ambient temperature of these indoor water parks. Rooms start as low as $84 a night. You'll need to get the promo code from Great Wolf Lodge's site to get the rate.
This promo applies only to a certain range of dates, but it usually covers bookings into December.

How do we make our prediction?
It's right there in the name, and this sale has happened every year since 2023. So we predict it'll return for 2025.
This is one of Great Wolf Lodge's best deals of the year, but do the math to compare it to their other sales.
The $84-per-night rate usually covers a certain number of guests, and additional guests may have to pay an additional per-head rate. Sometimes, a minimum-length stay is required. No matter what, though, the rate per person per night often ends up being at least 40% off the regular rate. At pricier properties, your savings could be even greater.
For comparison, there are usually other similar deals throughout the year. In fact, in February 2025, we saw a flash sale that got you a rate of $25 per person per night. However, that required a 4-person minimum. We've also seen Groupon rates at Great Wolf Lodge for as low as $19.79 (assuming you stayed at least two nights and had six guests).
So the 8.4 Day Sale is very much in the running as one of the best values of the year, depending on the length of your stay and how many people are in your party.
Expect there to be a limited number of rooms at the $84 rate.
The fine print for this promotion usually says "limited number of rooms available for each date." So if you have specific dates in mind and the rooms slated for this deal sell out, you're going to have to pay full price. I suggest being flexible with your dates for that reason.
There are also blackout dates, so don't get your hopes up for popular weekends.
