In the age of getting just about anything delivered, Walgreens has finally entered the ring via DoorDash.

The pharmacy has made a lot of moves lately, including smaller-format stores and in-store doctor’s offices, but Walgreens delivery is pretty freaking exciting.

On the heels of Uber Eats’ announcement that they’ll start delivering groceries, it’s a great time to be alive.

Walgreens is testing DoorDash delivery in select cities.

Starting July 17, customers in the Chicago, Atlanta, and Denver areas can order thousands of products from Walgreens via DoorDash, including over-the-counter medications, household essentials, grocery items, and convenience products.

Additional cities are expected to be added soon.

Get 20% off your Walgreens DoorDash order for a limited time.

You’re not able to use coupons with DoorDash, as we’ve found by ordering food, but a 20% discount on your total bill isn’t bad. You’ve gotta spend at least $15 to get the deal.

It’s easy to do that when you’re especially hungry for ice cream.

If you’re a DashPass subscriber, delivery is free on orders of $12 or more.

Delivery ranges from $1.99 to $5.99, depending on where you are, but we were finding $3.99 deliveries. But just like with food orders, Walgreens orders are free if you hit the $12 order threshold with DashPass — the monthly DoorDash subscription that offers unlimited free delivery.

If you don’t have DashPass, they offer a free 14-day trial.

If you’re a new subscriber, you can save 50%.

DoorDash is running a July promo that gives you 50% off your first order. Just use the promo code 50JULYUS.

You won’t be able to use the 20% off offered by Walgreens, since you can only use one promotional discount at a time. But since they’re both first-order-only discounts, take the higher 50% discount! Sign up for the DashPass trial and enjoy the savings.
