PRICE ADJUSTMENTS 101: Most retailers allow for a one-time price adjustment, usually within 7-14 days of purchase. If the price drops after you buy, you are entitled to request that the difference be credited back to you.

A few years ago, apps like Slice made price adjustments easier by tracking costs and alerting you when the price drops so you can request the refund yourself.

Now, Paribus does it all: tracks prices and requests refunds. You literally do nothing but sit back and watch (from your inbox) as the refunding takes place.

PARIBUS tracks price drops on all your online purchases.

Paribus scans your inbox for receipt confirmations. When Paribus finds a purchase, it begins to monitor the price. If the price drops, Paribus negotiates for a refund on your behalf. You literally do nothing. (Doing nothing is my favorite way to save money.) And the best part? As of August 2017, Paribus is totally free. Although Amazon’s price adjustment policy has changed since Paribus first launched (meaning you can only take advantage of late delivery monitoring), Paribus still monitors dozens of other online retailers including:

  • Bloomingdale’s
  • Best Buy
  • NewEgg
  • Staples
  • Target
  • Bonobos
  • J.Crew
  • Zappos
  • Nordstrom
  • Banana Republic
  • GAP
  • Old Navy
  • Athleta
  • Kohl’s
  • Office Depot
  • Neiman Marcus
  • Overstock
  • Saks Fifth Avenue
  • Costco
  • Home Depot
  • Sears
  • Crate and Barrel
  • Bed Bath and Beyond
  • REI
  • Anthropologie
  • L.L. Bean
  • Loft

PARIBUS sends price adjustment requests.

Check it out. Even though Paribus no longer does price adjustments for Amazon, this is an example of how it requests refunds from retailers. One of my Subscribe & Save items from Amazon dropped in price after I purchased it. Paribus sent this email to Amazon from my inbox. Paribus is so smart, it even varies its messages to make them sound more human. (The first time I saw the email, I thought my husband was requesting a price adjustment and I just about fell out of my chair!)

Refunds come to you directly from retailer.

Refunds are usually returned in the form of original payment, or, in the case shown above, via gift card or store credit. 100% of the price difference is paid to you. Paribus does not have access to your methods of payment.

Late delivery? PARIBUS tracks that too.

Paribus also tracks the delivery of your online purchases at Amazon and other popular online retailers. If your purchase doesn’t arrive within the guaranteed delivery window, Paribus will send a request on your behalf for a gift card, shipping refund, or other credit.

You keep 100% of the gift card or refund. It’s really that easy! Read all about it here.

PARIBUS is 100% free.

If Paribus negotiates a $137 discount on the laptop you just bought, that’s $137 right back in your pocket. There’s no catch and zero hidden fees. Just shop online like you usually do, and if Paribus detects a lower price for an item you’ve purchased, they’ll get you back 100% of the difference.

Use PARIBUS seamlessly on your computer or in the app.

I signed up for Paribus on my computer simply because my passwords are stored there, so it was a bit faster. Once I had my account, I downloaded the app, and now I can track my savings across both devices. Read more about the company’s strict security measures in the Paribus FAQ.

Create multiple accounts for multiple email addresses.

Paribus only works with one email per account, but they encourage users who have multiple emails to sign up for multiple accounts! Savings multiplied!

Thanks, Paribus. XOXOXO
