CVS has stock up price on Coke, so here is a great recipe that will help you use it!

Pot Roast with Coke

3-4 lbs roast
1 cup Coke or Pepsi
1/2 cup beef  bouillon
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 pkg Lipton onion soup mix
Red Potatoes cut in half
Carrots (baby)
Onion (sliced)
Mushrooms (sliced)

Put roast into the roasting pan.  Pour the coke  and beef bouillon over the roast. In a different bowl combine the cream of mushroom soup, Lipton onion soup mix and garlic then spread over the roast. Add the potatoes on the side of the roast and sprinkle the onions on top, then salt and pepper. Cook  at 350 degrees for about 2 hours.  After it has been cooking for 2 hours add the carrots and mushrooms and cook the remaining 2-2 1/2 hours or until roast is falling apart. Serve with mashed potatoes. You can thicken the gravy from the roast juices with a little rue (butter and flour paste mixture) and use that for your gravy for your mash potatoes. Enjoy!
