Not to be outdone by their five-pound peanut butter pie, Costco now has a four-pound lemon meringue cheesecake for purchase. Like the peanut butter pie, this one also costs $19.99. Between these pies, Reese’s ice cream, and Little Debbie ice cream, I know what’s in my cart this week.

Just last week, the lemon meringue cheesecake from Costco generated considerable buzz on social media. And when people start sharing their experiences, sensations begin (hello, Stanley Tumblers). Seriously though, looking at those photos, this dessert would be great for a graduation event, backyard party, or heck, just a Friday night.

Find this new talked-about dessert in the refrigerated cases in the Costco bakery. Let’s get into the details below so you can quickly get a Costco lemon meringue cheesecake with your membership before they sell out.

Costco’s new lemon meringue cheesecake weighs in at nearly 4 pounds.

When it comes to taste, it’s described as a creamy cheesecake with a tangy lemon filling, sweet graham crust, and a toasted meringue topper. As for the size, it clocks in at 3.88 pounds (62 ounces), which seems insane for a cheesecake. But with all of the layers and a 9.5 diameter, I’m cool with a bigger and better cheesecake.

The lemon meringue cheesecake is $19.99 and probably worth every cent.

While the $19.99 price is slightly higher than their regular Kirkland plain cheesecake ($16.99 for 4.5 pounds or 72 ounces), this combination of ingredients and the indulgence is a premium choice for dessert connoisseurs.

You can feed roughly 16 people with the regular cheesecake, making each slice about $1. This new cheesecake is a bit smaller, but it’s still big enough to feed 16 – 20 people.

They’re available in stores but with limited availability.

If you’re fortunate enough to find it in stock at your local Costco, don’t hesitate to indulge in this decadent dessert that has quickly become the talk of the town. Availability may vary from store to store, and there’s no guarantee of how long it will be available.
