Dollar General Days of Beauty is an annual virtual event with beauty advice and free Beauty Box giveaways.
Influencers and celebrities share their fitness routines, morning rituals, and beauty tips during this virtual event, all with a focus on multicultural women’s beauty.
Each day usually focuses on a different topic, but the Beauty Box giveaways are always the most talked about. You can register to get notified about the event and enter the giveaways on the Dollar General website.
KCL predicts the next Dollar General Days of Beauty event will start online on June 23, 2025.
Dollar General hasn't announced the next dates for the 2025 Days of Beauty event, but this free virtual event always takes place in the summer. Based on what they did in previous years, we expect it to kick off around Monday, June 23 and last until Friday, Aug. 29, 2025.
As for the free Beauty Box giveaways, those will likely start on June 30, 2025, and continue to roll out about every other week until late August. You’ll need to enter the free giveaways online (and also complete a few tasks on social media channels to be eligible).

In 2024, Dollar General only gave out 20 free Beauty Boxes during a series of five giveaways.
To generate buzz for their Days of Beauty event, Dollar General always hosts a free Beauty Box giveaway online. But the giveaway got a bit less generous in 2024.
Instead of the 5,000 free Beauty Boxes that were available in 2023, the 2024 event only gave out 20 free boxes. To enter each giveaway, you had to follow Dollar General and a specific influencer on both Instagram and TikTok and comment on your favorite product from the themed box for that week.

Curls & Crowns Giveaway (July 1 - 5) — included 7 free hair products from Yes Honey and SheaMoisture
Wellness Like Wow Giveaway (July 15 - 19) — included 3 free products from Dr Teal's and SmartWater
Pretty, Polished & Pampered Giveaway (July 29 - Aug. 2) — included 8 free products from Kiss, Sally Hansen, and more
Summer Glow & Shine Giveaway (Aug. 12 - 16) — included 5 free products from Nivea and Neutrogena
Queens of Glam Giveaway (Aug. 26 - 30) — included 9 free products from Covergirl and L.A. Colors
In 2023, they gave out a whopping 5,000 free Beauty Boxes to those who registered in advance.
Almost as soon as Dollar General announced the free Beauty Boxes in 2023, they sold out. DG only made them available to the first 5,000 people who registered for the event. And after that, the free boxes were no longer available to new registrants.
If you didn't get one of the first 5,000 Beauty Boxes, you had a (tiny) chance to win one during the actual event, but they only gave away two free boxes. To get entered to win, you just had to follow Dollar General Beauty and Dollar General on Instagram, like their giveaway post, and tag a friend for more entries.
Don't bother checking your Dollar General store for any festivities — this event happens online only.
Unlike a typical Dollar General event (like the Dollar General clearance events we know and love), the Dollar General Days of Beauty event is always virtual. You’ll visit the website during the event to watch tutorials from influencers and hear about the featured products.
