1. Target employees get 10% off anything in store or online.
One of the best Target employee benefits is getting 10% off anything in store as well as online. The discount connects to your Target account, so it will be applied automatically at checkout. It doesn’t matter if you’re a full-time or part-time employee.

2. Target employees also benefit from 10% off at in-store Starbucks.
In addition to getting 10% off all Target products, employees also get 10% off at in-store Starbucks locations. This can also be stacked with other deals.
3. Target workers can take advantage of 20% off wellness products.
With the wellness discount at Target, you get 20% off health products. Some of the items included under the “wellness” umbrella include:
- Target organic food and drink brands
- Fitness products
- Athletic wear
4. Employees get up to five weeks of vacation.
If you’re an employee at Target, you’re eligible for anywhere between one and five weeks of paid vacation time per year.
This tends to vary quite a bit, both from store to store and by position and hours worked.
5. Target team members can apply for both health and dental insurance.
Employees can also take advantage of Target’s health and dental insurance benefits. For health insurance, Target offers two national and three regional plans with pharmacy benefits to cover medications. Plus, if your plan is through Bind or UnitedHealthcare, you get automatic coverage for vision exams with the opportunity to get eyewear coverage.
When it comes to dental insurance, Target partners with Delta Dental insurance and offers standard and enhanced plans. They’ll cover 100% of any preventative dental work, as well as a portion of any additional procedures.

6. Target’s also paying for some employees’ college tuition, books, and fees.
In August 2021, Target announced their plan to pay for over 340,000 employee’s undergrad and associate degrees, textbooks included, at certain schools. This tuition assistance program will cover both full time and part time employees and include certificates and bootcamp programs. They’re also going to offer up to $10,000 a year towards employee’s master’s programs.
7. Plus, employees get a free flu shot every year.
Whether insured or not, Target employees get a free flu vaccination every flu season.
8. Target matches employee 401 (k) payments.
You can get your 401 (k) payments matched up to 5% of eligible payment by Target. To qualify, you must be over 18 and have worked 1,000 hours.
