1. Sign up for the newsletter
Sign up for GNC's newsletter and immediately receive a coupon for 15 percent off your online order. In addition, you'll get offers and coupons sent straight to your inbox.
2. Join the club
The GNC Membership Program provides members with up to 20 percent off certain products plus special Member Price products. GNC will also price match items for members who bring in proof of another retailer's price. Check their website for detailed rules.
3. Use GNC coupons
You can find printable coupons at coupon websites like CouponDeals, or receive them by email from GNC. Combine them with your membership pricing for bigger deals.
4. Use manufacturer coupons
My local GNC accepts manufacturer coupons for any items they carry, like Muscle Milk (the 3/3 SmartSource insert included a $2 off 1 Muscle Milk coupon). Not all stores will accept manufacturer coupons, so be sure to check your local store's coupon policy before heading in.
5. Join Groupon
The popular daily deal website sometimes offers GNC deals. Recently, Groupon's Deal of the Day was $40 of GNC merchandise for just $19—a 53 percent discount! Grab these deals when you can because they usually don’t last long.
6. Shop the clearance
Always check out the GNC clearance online and in-store for the best prices. About six months before the expiration date, GNC will start marking down their items starting at around 30 percent off. But once the expiration date is within 2–3 months, prices will often drop by 75 percent.
7. Take advantage of social media
“Like” GNC on Facebook, and follow them on Twitter. You'll be privy to special offers in your area including 50 percent off sports nutrition products and one-day-only deals like 25 percent off the entire website with a special promo code.
