Whenever I head to the mall for a fun day of shopping, I always have a list of stores that I can’t wait to check out. At the top of that list is always Forever 21! With their style-savvy fashions for men, women and children, Forever 21 has become a mecca for trendsetters on a tight budget. In fact, the global retailer has grown so quickly over the last few years that they now have 450 stores in the U.S. and nearly 100 locations abroad, making them one of the largest privately-owned companies. Despite the fact that you can always manage to score jewelry, shoes and clothing for as low as $4 or $5 at Forever 21, there are a few ways to save even more.

Flash deals

One of my favorite things about shopping online is checking out the new arrivals that my favorite stores receive each week. Unfortunately, most retailers make you wait weeks or even months before those new items get marked down, but not at Forever 21! Every day, Forever 21 offers a selection of their new merchandise at a 21% discount. The items change on a daily basis and often include clothing, accessories and shoes as well as items for men and children. In the past, I’ve seen chiffon skirts, graphic tees, iPhone cases and floral leggings in the daily deal section—all for 21% off! To find today’s sales, head over to the sale section at Forever21.com and select "Flash Deals."

Style deals

If you thought the daily deals section was fun to check out each day, try browsing Forever 21’s Style Deals! The Style Deals section showcases not-so-basic basics that are offered at an everyday low price and are divided into 4 categories; items under $5, $10, $15 and $20. This is one of my favorite sections to browse when I’m looking for small gifts, stocking stuffers and fun items for myself when my budget is tight! In addition to classic items such as basic headbands and socks for $2 or less, I’ve scored items such as graphic tote bags for $1.80, sneakers for $9.80, and scarves for $5.80 in the Style Deals. One of the added perks to these items is that you can usually find them in stores, as well, where they are often located near the registers and in the jewelry department.

Get cash back

Everyone loves getting paid to shop, and that’s exactly what you can do when you shop online at Forever 21! All of the major cash-back shopping sites including Ebates, Shop at Home, and TopCashBack offer cash back at Forever 21 when you go through their sites. Although the 2%-4% these sites typically offer may not pay for your next beach vacation, it just might cover the cost of a new bikini! Plus, before they direct you to Forever 21, these cash-back sites always alert you to any available coupon codes that you may not have been aware of—saving you even more.

Email alerts

One of the best and easiest ways to keep up to date with the latest sales—as well as score coupons—is by subscribing to Forever 21’s email list. Not only does Forever 21 use email to alert customers to new arrivals, but they also use it to let shoppers know about special offers going on in-store, online and, of course, to send customers coupons! In fact, if you sign up through their Facebook page you’ll even receive an exclusive offer to welcome you! Past emails have informed shoppers of sales such as an additional 50% off sale merchandise, 30% off outerwear and have included coupons such as 10% off purchases of $50 or more.

Buy in-store

I know what you’re thinking—why buy in-store when shopping online can be so much more convenient? After all, who doesn’t love relaxing on the couch and shopping in their pajamas? Unfortunately, as good as it sounds at the time, you may end up regretting that decision. Forever 21, which is known for having one of the strictest return policies in retail, doesn’t allow you to return your online purchases in-store for a refund. If that adorable dress turns out to be not so adorable in person, your choices are to mail it back (at your expense) for a refund or bring it to a store where you’ll only receive store credit. As cute and budget-friendly as Forever 21’s clothes can be, the quality and fit can vary from item to item, making it even more important to try each piece on. If you tend to get overwhelmed by the massive volume of merchandise in-store, consider browsing online beforehand and bringing in a printed copy of your shopping cart so associates can help you locate the items that you’re interested in. Since Forever 21’s daily deals are online-only, it’s not always possible to do all of your shopping in-store, but choosing to do so when you can may end up saving you a few bucks—as well as a few headaches.
