Calling all you Harris Teeter fans! Don’t have time to do your grocery shopping this week? No problem! Use those extra minutes from your day and order your groceries online. Harris Teeter has designed a system that’s quick and easy from ordering to pickup.
The best part is that you can place your order online and either pick it up or get it delivered directly to your house. Note that coupons are accepted at the time of pickup, and the discount will be applied to your next order.
This is a new program, so of course I gave it a try. Here are my thoughts:
Overall I would use Express Lane again, since it is convenient. However, there are a few things I wasn’t crazy about:
First, the system crashed a couple of times while I was adding items to my cart. Second, I wasn’t a fan of the coupon value rolling to the next order. I like to be sure all my coupons, Catalinas and e-VIC e-coupons count as they should. I had to leave my Catalinas and newspaper coupons with the sales person.
You also have to pay a $4.95 service fee for each order (keep an eye out for a discounted rate; we’ve heard they do this frequently). For this first time I got the service free.
