Each week, CVS provides an ExtraBucks spend promotion which enables shoppers to satisfy 98% of the spend threshold (prior to using coupons) and still earn ExtraBucks in store. This is known as the CVS 98% rule. On the other hand, if you prefer online shopping, you must still meet the full spend amount after all coupons have been redeemed. Whether you choose to shop online or at a physical CVS location, all qualifying purchases made during the promotional week will count towards the promotion.
