Walgreens Delivery
Don't feel like stepping into Walgreens or doing Walgreens Curbside Pickup? Thankfully there are many Walgreens delivery services to choose from. We've discovered how you can get anything — from your shampoo to your prescriptions — delivered right to your door.
Walgreens delivery service is available on Instacart, DoorDash, UberEats, and Postmates.
In the Walgreens app, there are over 7,000 items you can get delivered. Just select the item you want, and it will show the option for pickup, same-day delivery, or shipping — if available. At my store, if I order before 7 pm, it will arrive in up to two hours with a $5.99 delivery fee using the Walgreens app.
Instacart, DoorDash, UberEats, and Postmates are additional options for a Walgreens delivery service. You can link your myWalgreens account to these delivery services too. That way your purchases are still tracked in your myWalgreens account.
Expect prices to be higher on delivery orders.
When using a delivery service, the prices per item are going to be higher than if you purchased in store. Price increases can range from $0.10 all the way up to $1. Not to mention, there are delivery fees and you should tip your delivery driver.
Walgreens prescription delivery is available through Walgreens Same Day RX.
The Walgreens prescription delivery is a separate service from the other delivery services mentioned above. If you're interested in Walgreens Same Day Rx delivery, these are your options:
Standard online shipping: 5-10 business days (ships to you).
Walgreens Express delivery: 1-2 business days (from your local pharmacy). You have to enroll by texting JoinRx to 21525. Not all prescriptions are eligible, so talk to your pharmacist first.
Orders must be received by 4 pm to be eligible for Same Day Rx Delivery during a weekday and by 1 pm on weekends.
AllianceRx Walgreens Prime home delivery keeps your prescriptions coming.
Life is busy, so I'm all about the "set and forget." AllianceRx Walgreens Prime lets you schedule your prescriptions with the refills to mail directly to your house so you never run out. You can get a 90-day supply of medication, or the max your plan allows.
No, you can't order alcohol from Walgreens.
Postmates, InstaCart, UberEats, and DoorDash can't deliver alcohol, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, or tobacco from Walgreens.
Have your items left at your door or leave special instructions.
You can choose to meet your delivery driver at your door or have them leave your items at your doorstep. Plus, you can leave any special instructions at checkout in your order (like a gate code, for instance).
