Monster Cookies

1 (16 oz) package Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough – $1.47
1 tub vanilla frosting – $1.00
2 containers rainbow-colored sprinkles – $1.78
1 small bag plain M&M’s – $0.68

1. Bake chocolate chip cookies according to directions on package. Let cool before assembling.

2. Prepare frosting by spooning into a sandwich-size Ziploc bag. Cut bottom corner of bag to make a 1/2 inch opening to squeeze out frosting. Squeeze some frosting onto bottom of one cookie, making sure to add extra frosting on the side where the monster’s “mouth” is going to be. Place the bottom of another cookie on top of the frosting to make a sandwich.

3. Pour sprinkles into a shallow dish. Roll the “mouth” of the cookies along the sprinkles so they stick to the frosting to look like a mouth of rainbow teeth. Squeeze two dots of frosting on top of the cookie for eyes and stick an M&M onto each.

4. Assemble remaining cookies and serve.
