If you’re looking to give your home a fresh new look, opting for furniture dupes can be a great way to save some cash. A furniture dupe is a less expensive version of a high-end piece, designed to look similar to the original. You might not get the exact same quality or materials as the real deal, but you’ll still get a great-looking piece at a fraction of the cost.
And let’s be real, who wants to break the bank just to make their living space look great? With the extra money you save, you can invest in other areas of your home decor or even treat yourself to something special. Plus, you’ll be able to switch up your furniture again in the future without feeling guilty about the expense. So if you’re looking to spruce up your space on a budget, consider furniture dupes as a budget-savvy option.

Furniture Dupes We Love
1. Arendahl Traditional Arch Wall Mirror
This mirror ($138, Target) is a much more affordable dupe for the viral Gleaming Primrose Mirror from Anthropologie. Plus, it’s a whole $410 cheaper. That’s a 75% savings! However, if this one doesn’t float your boat, there are plenty of other Anthropologie mirror dupes.
2. Ikea HARLANDA
We love that this sofa ($1,099, Ikea) is 90% cheaper than the Restoration Hardware Cloud Couch. And honestly, I sat on one of these at Ikea and it was really plushy, giving it that cloud feeling. There are so many cloud couch dupes if this one isn’t working for you.
3. Convertible Sofa to Lounger
At the time of writing, this lounger ($49.99, Amazon) is $200 cheaper than a Nugget Couch. That’s a nice 80% savings. We’ve seen the price fluctuate a little bit this month, but make sure to snag it when it’s just under $50.

4. Loloi II Layla Collection Area Rug
You can’t go wrong with a classic area rug. Well, unless you’re overpaying for said rug. The McGee and Co. La Messina rug is often on sale, bringing the price down to $480 for a 9’x12′ rug. But there’s a same-size lookalike on sale for $180 less. That means this rug ($299.99, Amazon) is 37% cheaper. At the time of writing this article, the alternative costs just under $300, but we’ve seen the price drop to $250 in the past.
5. Woven Bamboo Pendant Shade
If you’re a fan of rattan, you’ve probably seen the Serena and Lily Headlands Bell Pendant. But you can get the look for about $200 less by opting for this dupe ($129, World Market). Just be sure to get the lamp in the shade “natural” for the best visual match. The price tends to fluctuate on this one, but we’ve seen it drop to $99 at best.
6. Megan Upholstered Swivel Chair
Round furniture is so in right now, especially when it comes to accent chairs. While the Fresno Swivel Chair is gaining traction online, there’s a more affordable option available. This chair ($449.99, World Market) is $2,349 less expensive, or 84% cheaper.
7. Opalhouse Arched Wood Cabinet
Okay, so I know this isn’t a perfect visual match for the Fern Storage Cabinet, but it’s pretty dang close. This cabinet ($408.50, Target) only cost $408 at the time of writing this, but the price can go up to $430. It has the arched silhouette, the top display area, and the storage shelves that people love about the Anthropologie OG. And it’s roughly $2,000 less, or about an 80% savings. With all the money you saved, just get a can of spray paint and match the colors on the original.
8. Natural Medium Round Wood Coffee Table
In keeping with the round furniture trend, the Orseline Round Coffee Table is making a splash on social media. It’s also incredibly pricey. Instead, opt for this dupe ($499.00, Home Depot) and save $2,130.32 before sales. After accounting for sales, that number goes up to $2,200 saved, or about 82% off.
9. Walker Checkered Shag Area Rug
Checkered is definitely the pattern of the year so far, and this Lulu and Georgia rug capitalizes on that trend. However, the 8’x10′ size is a whole $1,471 more than the comparable size of this dupe ($327, All Modern). That’s an 81% savings.
10. Madison Park Jakoba Counter Stool
Give your breakfast bar a face-lift with some new barstools. The West Elm Lenox stools are certainly trendy with their mid-century modern vibe. But I recommend going with this dupe ($399.99, Kohl’s) to save a whopping $169 per stool after sales.
