Kick back with a nice glass of vino and watch your kids do all of the hard work for Valentine’s this year.

OK, you might need to help a little — and you’re probably going to have to supervise — but this is mostly on them.

1. Use lollipops and construction paper to create a cute butterfly.

You might have to help your kiddo cut out the construction paper for these cute valentines, but they can do most of it on their own.

TIP: Use a pencil instead of a lollipop for a non-sugared alternative.

2. Make some valen-slime.

Because all kids love slime. All of them. Get the full tutorial here.

3. Personalize small party favor bags to fill with treats.

Cut hearts out of newspaper and paint with watercolors. Then attach them to the paper bags with washi tape or glue. Couldn’t be easier!

4. Break out the pom-poms and googly eyes for a love bug valentine.

If you don’t want to help with the hot glue gun, then save this guy for older kids to do.

Get the full tutorial here.

5. Cut out dinosaurs —or another favorite shape! — and attach a sucker.

You can make a template for the kids to trace so that it can be a hands-off activity for you.

6. Make friendship bracelet valentines.

These bracelets can be as simple or complicated as your kids’ skill and energy level.

7. Use Perler beads to make a Valentine-worthy keychain.

Help the kids attach tags or key chains after you iron them. Perfect to hang on backpacks all year long!

You can get the supplies for under $10.00.

8. Make a simple strawberry heart card.

Glue on some googly eyes to up the cute factor.

9. Make a valentine star with a treat in the middle.

You’ll have to help your kiddo get it started, but they can color in the star and stick a treat in the middle all on their own.

10. Keep it simple with a paper bag and construction paper.

Cut a heart out of a paper grocery bag, and let your kiddo decorate with construction paper shapes. Tape on a piece of candy to make sure their friends get plenty of sugar for Valentine’s Day.

11. Make some poppers with tissue paper and toilet paper tubes.

These poppers are crazy easy to make, and you can fill them with treats or small toys.

OK, they don’t actually “pop,” but they are a lot of fun to rip open.

12. Embrace the rock-painting trend for a unique valentine.

Kick back and keep your kids occupied by letting them be the ones to collect rocks and paint them.

13. Give some “hugs” with graham crackers and gummy bears.

You can use both teddy bear-shaped graham crackers and gummy bears — or choose just one.

14. Let the kids create a color sheet for their classmates.

Have your kiddo draw a heart for their friends to color, and attach a single crayon. Easy, cheap and unique!

15. Use pipe cleaners and pencils for a fun valentine.

Top these with a heart-shaped sticker for an extra touch. Perfect for little hands to do (mostly) on their own.

16. Make valentine bookmarks with paint swatches.

Grab these from the paint section at your local hardware or paint store. Your kids will love using the heart-shaped hole punch.

17. Or make a pom-pom bookmark.

You might have to help out a little more with this one unless you have older kids. Get the full tutorial over here.

18. Make some fortune “cookies” with special messages inside.

Folding these can be tricky, at least until the kids get the hang of it. But they can at least write their own custom messages to go inside.

19. Keep it old school with stickers and construction paper.

Help your kids come up with a “punny” saying, or just let them do their own thing. Either way, they’ll be occupied for hours.
