Since 2024, Target has kicked off its Memorial Day sale the Sunday eight days before Memorial Day and runs the deals for nine days. Memorial Day falls on May 31 in 2027, so expect the sale to kick off May 23 and run through the holiday.

There will likely be two phases of the sale:

May 23 - 31 (full 9-day sale window):

• Up to 50% off Sun Squad outdoor toys, pools, floats, and water toys

• Plus rotating early deals across apparel, home, and outdoor

May 28 - 31 (4-day Memorial Day event):

A few deals, like discounts on sandals and swimwear, will only be available during the 4-day window of May 28 - 31.
