There’s nothing more frustrating than car trouble, especially when you can’t readily find help. If you find yourself stranded and no one is available to give you a jump, you may be able to get one last start out of your car by using aspirin. The aspirin's acetylsalicylic acid combined with the battery's sulfuric acid is often enough to produce one last charge and get you on your way. Just drop two aspirin into each cell of the battery and then try starting the car. This trick requires removing the top of your battery (click here to learn how to do this safely) and should really only be attempted if you’re out of other options or just can’t wait for AAA. And be sure to use this last charge to get yourself straight to the nearest service center!
