Looking for some Veterans Day freebies? In honor of our nation’s veterans and active duty, these national chains are really stepping up and saying “thank you.”

1. Check out 40 Restaurants giving away free food on Veterans Day.

These restaurants are offering free food to veterans and active duty military in honor of Veterans Day. Unless stated otherwise, these promotions are for Nov. 11 only and require a military ID.

Applebee’s is offering a free meal to any veteran or active duty military on November 11th. Simply show proof of military service. Valid for dine-in only.

Sweetfrog is giving active duty military and veterans a free 12 ounce frozen yogurt with ID.

Little Caesar’s Pizza is offering a free HOT-N-READY lunch combo.

City Barbeque is giving a free meal, dine-in or takeout, which includes a sandwich, two sides and a drink.

Hot Head Burritos has a BOGO burrito deal.

Back Yard Burgers is giving away a free Back Yard Classic Burger.

Dunkin’ Donuts is giving away a free donut, and a thank you card to the first 50 veterans at each location.

California Pizza Kitchen is giving away a free entree from their Veterans Day menu.

Chicken Salad Chick is offering a free Chick special and drink.

Cracker Barrel will thank veterans with a piece of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake or a Pumpkin Pie Latte, hot or cold. As a bonus, 10% of the sales from Select Rockers purchased online from Oct. 28 – Nov. 11 will be donated to Operation Homefront.

BJ’s Restaurant is giving away a free entree up to $14.95 value and a drink.

Golden Corral is giving away a free “thank you” dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Denny’s is offering a free Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast from 5 a.m. to noon.

Hooters will allow veterans to eat free from a select menu with a drink purchase.

IHOP is giving away a free Red White and Blueberry combo stack of pancakes.

Red Robin is giving away a free Red’s Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries. No purchase necessary.

Ruby Tuesday Get a free burger or a sandwich.

Shoney’s Free all-you-care-to-eat breakfast from 6 a.m.-11a.m.

Spaghetti Warehouse is encouraging guests to “invite a veteran or soldier” to lunch or dinner with a special three-day “buy one entree, get one free” coupon offer valid Nov. 9 – 11.

Wienerschnitzel is giving away a free chili dog, small fry and a Pepsi.

Menchie’s is offering the first 6 oz. of frozen yogurt free.

Texas Roadhouse from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., is giving away a free lunch.

Burntwood Tavern is giving away a free lunch or dinner.

Buffalo Wild Wings is giving free small traditional or boneless wings and a side of fries.

Famous Dave’s is offering all former and current military members a free Two Meat Lunch Combo.

Green Mill is offering a free menu item for lunch or dinner.

American Roadhouse is letting all military eat a meal on the house from 3 – 6 p.m.

Hy-Vee is serving free buffet breakfast from 6 – 11 a.m. to veterans and active duty at all of their stores.

CentraArchy Restaurants is offering free entrees all day.

Wild Wing Cafe, at participating locations, is giving away a six-wing or nugget order to veterans.

Primanti Bros, on Nov. 10 – 11, is giving away free Classic Primanti Bros sandwiches.

54th Street Grill is allowing veterans to eat free and holding an Instagram contest until Nov. 12. Post a photo of a vet and #54supportsvets for a chance to win a gift card.

Greene Turtle always offers a military discount but for Veterans Day is also giving away free entrees of up to $14 value.

Hamburger Stand is handing out free hamburger meals (burger, fries, Pepsi).

Max & Erma’s is giving out free cheeseburgers, endless frees and fountain drinks.

RibCrib has a special menu for veterans with one meat and two sides.

Fatz Southern Kitchen offers their free Calabash Chicken Basket.

Bruegger’s Bagels is giving away a free bagel with cream cheese.

Shari’s is offering free breakfast Nov. 11 – 12.

Starbucks is giving away free tall brewed coffees, plus 25 cents from every transaction goes to Team Rubicon and Team Red White and Blue.

 

2. Get a free night at Bed and Breakfast Inns.

3. Win a free wedding gown from Brides Across America.

Brides across America is partnering with salons across the country to offer qualified military brides a free wedding gown during the month of November. Brides must be pre-registered online.

4. Get a free car wash with any Grace for Vets partner.

Car wash companies in four different countries have partnered with Grace for Vets to give veterans a free car wash.

 

5. Get a free haircut from Great Clips.

Great Clips will be giving free haircuts (or a free haircut card valid through 12/31/2019) to veterans and current military members on November 11th.

If you’re non-military, purchase a service at Great Clips on Veterans Day and get a free haircut card to give to a veteran you know. Limit one card per customer.

6. Visit any U.S. National Park for free.

The U.S. National Park waives day-use entrance fees for any active-duty or veteran on Veterans Day.

 

7. Get another free haircut at Sport’s Clips.

Active-duty U.S. service members and veterans can receive a free haircut at participating Sport’s Clips location with proof of service. Sport’s Clips will donate $1 from every haircut to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) as part of its Help a Hero Campaign.

 

8. Go on a free vacation from Westgate Resorts.

The first 1,500 eligible service members to fill out an application on Veterans Day will receive a free vacation from Westgate Resorts.

9. Drink a free beer at World of Beer!

Get a free select draught beer or $5 off the bill.

 

10. Search locally for free beer at MilitaryBenefits.info!

Local breweries and bars are offering free beer on Veterans Day, and there are too many to list here. But, click the link in the heading, and do a “Ctrl F” for “beer!”
