Looking for some Veterans Day freebies and deals? In honor of our nation’s veterans and active duty, these national chains are really stepping up and saying “thank you.”

1. Check out 50 restaurants giving away free or discounted food or drink on Veterans Day.

Restaurants are offering free and discounted food and beverages to veterans and active-duty military in honor of Veterans Day. Unless stated otherwise, these promotions are for Nov. 11 only and require a military ID.

  • 54th Street Grill is honoring veterans and active military with a free entree up to $12 (dine-in only).
  • Applebee’s is offering a free meal to any veteran or active-duty military (dine-in only). Simply show proof of military service.
  • Bar Louie is offering a free craft burger or flatbread to all military service members, active or retired (dine-in only).
  • Ben’s Soft Pretzels is offering veterans and active military a free Jumbo Soft Pretzel from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST on Nov 11.
  • BJ’s Restaurant is giving away a free entree up to $14.95 value and a drink.
  • Bob Evans is honoring veterans and active military with a free select breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
  • Bruegger’s Bagels is giving away a free bagel with cream cheese.
  • Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant & Market is offering military personnel and their families a 20% discount on Veterans Day.
  • Buffalo Wild Wings is offering a free order of small traditional or boneless wings and a side of fries.
  • California Pizza Kitchen is honoring veterans and active-duty military by giving away a free entree and beverage from their Veterans Day menu.
  • Cattleman’s Steakhouse is offering all military a free steak when they sign up for the complimentary steak promotion on Nov. 11. The offer will be emailed on Nov. 12 and is redeemable from Nov. 12-22.
  • Chili’s Veterans Day offering is a free meal from a select menu.
  • Coffee Beanery is offering a free tall cup of coffee to veterans and active military on Nov. 11 and 20% off on Nov. 11-13 with the code THANKYOU20.
  • Cracker Barrel will thank veterans with a piece of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake. As a bonus, for every Country Fried Turkey Family Meal Basket sold in November a $10 gift card will be donated to Operation Homefront.
  • Country Kitchen is offering a free Country Scramble (two pancakes, scrambled eggs with ham and cheese) any time on Nov. 11.
  • Crooked Pint Ale House is offering a free meal to veterans and active military on Nov. 11 They also offer military 10% year-round.
  • Denny’s is offering a free Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast from 5 a.m. to noon on Nov. 12.
  • Dunkin’ Donuts is giving away a free donut to veterans and active-duty military.
  • Famous Dave’s is offering all former and current military a free Georgia Chopped Prok Sandwich and a side all day for dine-in and carry-out orders. If ordering online at FamousDaves.com/togo use the code VETERAN.
  • Farmer Boys is honoring all military, past and present, with a free Big Cheese cheeseburger from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. EST on Nov. 11.
  • Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers are giving out free combo meal comp cards to veterans and current military that can be used between Nov. 11-30.
  • Friendly’s is offering veterans and active military a free lunch or dinner on Nov. 11.
  • Golden Corral is giving away free meal and beverage cards from Nov. 1-Nov. 30. The one-time-use card is valid from Nov. 1, 2020, to May 31, 2021, for lunch or dinner Monday-Thursday.
  • Green Mill is offering a free menu item for lunch or dinner. Valid for dine-in only.
  • Hooters is offering 10 free wings with the purchase of 10 wings.
  • Huddle House is offering a free MVP Breakfast Platter to veterans and active-duty military on Veterans Day.
  • Hurricane Grill & Wings is honoring veterans and active military with a free entrée and non-alcoholic beverage from their special Veterans Day menu which includes sliders tacos, wings, and more on Nov. 11.
  • Hy-Vee is serving free curbside pickup breakfast from 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. to veterans and active duty at all of their stores.
  • Joe’s Crab Shack is offering a 20% discount for veterans and active-duty military (dine-in only).
  • Juice It Up! is offering all military a free 20-ounce Classic Smoothie on Veterans Day.
  • K&W Cafeterias is honoring veterans and active-duty military with a free dessert on Nov. 11.
  • Krispy Kreme is offering veterans and active-duty military a free doughnut with small coffee on Nov. 11.
  • LaMar’s Donuts is offering a free donut and 12-ounce coffee on Nov. 11.
  • Little Caesar’s Pizza is offering a free HOT-N-READY lunch combo.
  • Max & Erma’s is giving out free cheeseburgers, endless frees, fountain drinks, and a chocolate chip cookie.
  • Menchie’s is offering the first six ounces of frozen yogurt free.
  • Mission BBQ is offering a free sandwich to all military, past and present, on Veterans Day.
  • O’Charley’s offers Veteran’s a 10% discount year-round, but for Nov. 11 they are offering veterans and active-duty military a free dine-in only meal.
  • Olive Garden is honoring active military and veterans with a free meal on Nov. 11. Meal includes an entrée from a special menu, unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks.
  • On the Border is offering all active and retired military a free Pick 2 combo meal on Nov. 11.
  • Red Lobster is offering a free appetizer or dessert (dine-in only).
  • Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery is offering veterans and active-duty military a free entree from their special Veterans Day menu which includes Kolsch-Battered Fish & Chips, Bacon & Chicken Mac ‘n Cheese, Chicken Fried Chicken Stack, and Bacon BBQ Burger on Nov. 11.
  • Romano’s Macaroni Grill is offering a free Mom’s Ricotta Meatballs and Spaghetti entree. Valid for dine-in or carryout.
  • Shari’s is offering a free slice of pie, plus a BOGO free deal at all Pacific Northwest locations. Valid for dine-in or carryout.
  • Shoney’s Free all-you-care-to-eat breakfast from 6 a.m. – 11 a.m.
  • Smoothie King is offering veterans and active-duty military a free 20 ounce on Nov. 11.
  • Starbucks is giving away free tall (12-ounce) brewed coffees.
  • Texas Roadhouse is honoring veterans and active-duty military with a free meal voucher from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Voucher is valid until June 2021.
  • Twin Peaks is offering a free Veterans Day meal for all active and retired military members. Contact your local Twin Peaks Restaurant to make sure they’re participating.
  • White Castle is giving out a free Combo meal #1-#6 or Breakfast Combo meal to active military and veterans on Nov. 11.
  • Wienerschnitzel is offering veterans and active military a free chili dog with small fries and a small Pepsi on Nov. 11.

3. Get a free car wash Veterans Day offer with any Grace for Vets partner.

Car wash companies in four different countries have partnered with Grace for Vets to give veterans a free car wash.

 

4. Enjoy a free night at Bed and Breakfast Inns.

Need a place to sleep off your bloated burrito belly? Get one free night’s stay on or around Veterans Day. See website for participating Bed and Breakfast Inns.

 

5. Get a free haircut from Great Clips.

Great Clips will be giving free haircuts (or a free haircut card valid through Dec. 11, 2020) to veterans and current military members on Nov. 11.

If you’re non-military, purchase a service at Great Clips on Veterans Day and get a free haircut card to give to a veteran you know. Limit one card per customer.

 

 

6. Visit any US National Park for free.

The U.S. National Park Service waives day-use entrance fees for any active-duty or veteran on Veterans Day.

 

7. Receive a 20% discount at Walgreens from Nov. 11 – 15.

Veterans and active military members and their families can save 20% at Walgreens with a Balance Rewards card or myWalgreens and proof of service.

 

8. Get another free haircut at Sport Clips.

Active-duty U.S. service members and veterans can receive a free haircut at participating Sport Clips locations with proof of service. Sport Clips will donate $1 from every haircut to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) as part of its Help a Hero Campaign.

 

9. Get $5 off your check at World of Beer.

Get $5 off your bill at World of Beer on Veterans Day. Call ahead to make sure your local WOB is participating.

10. Search locally for free or discounted Veterans Day offerings at MilitaryBenefits.info.

MilitaryBenefits.info provides a list of free or discounted local meals, parks, and museums for US Armed Forces members and military families.

 

 

11. Play a round of free golf in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

With military ID, active military, and veterans can play free golf at McMillen Park and Foster Park golf courses in Fort Wayne Indiana on Nov. 11. Electric golf cart not included.

 

12. Save 10% on your groceries at Publix on Veterans Day.

Veterans and active military members and their families can save 10% on groceries at Publix on Nov. 11.
