The Best Alcohol Delivery Services
1. Cellars Wine Club
Choose from eight different subscriptions, from champagnes to sweet wines to premium selections. Each box is customizable in that you can pick the frequency of shipments, the number of shipments, and the wine color.
Prices start at $29 per shipment for a single bottle shipment and $49 for a premium bottle shipment. The second gives you two bottles per shipment, which we think is a better deal. Shipping is free on any order, always.
2. Drizly
Beers and wines and liquors, oh my! At this online liquor store, you can pick from a wide selection of beverages from various stores to be delivered straight to your door. There’s even the option to filter different beverage types by women-owned, AAPI-owned, Black-owned, and Hispanic-owned, so you can choose to support marginalized communities with your dollar.
Beers start as low as $1.31, and wine starts at $4.99 for a 187 mL bottle, but note that depending on what store you’re buying from, you’re going to have a minimum spend requirement. We’ve seen stores require anything from $0 to $19.99. The minimum delivery fee for all Drizly orders is $4.99, but this can go up depending on location and store.
3. Firstleaf
Unsure where to start when it comes to wine subscription boxes? This service offers a taste questionnaire and recommends something based on your responses. From there you’ll get six bottles sent to you at the frequency of your choosing.
We’ve seen Firstleaf offer pretty amazing deals, including an introductory offer for six wines at $39.95, plus free shipping. After that first order, six-bottle club orders cost $89.94, plus $9.95 shipping and tax.
4. Mash & Grape
We think this liquor subscription service is pretty neat. You can pick from bourbon, whiskey, scotch, gin, tequila, or rum clubs, starting at $44 per month. From there, they’ll send you one bottle a month of premium spirits.
You can also purchase individual bottles as well if you’re not feeling a subscription. For individual orders, shipping is $14.99 with a minimum order of $44. Prices start at $12 for mezcal, $19 for gin, $25 for scotch, and $15 for tequila, though there are many other spirits available.
5. Minibar
Think of ordering local takeout, but for alcohol. All options are catered to your area with choices including beer, wine, liquor, mixers, and even snacks. There’s also an app for iOS and Android.
Local deliveries are same-day with a range of delivery times, and we’re currently seeing ETAs as soon as 30 minutes. Take note that order minimums range anywhere from $0 to $15. And shipping costs $5 for every order.
Prices per bottle vary depending on where you’re ordering from. In my area, I see wine as low as $2.31, beer starting at $2.49, and liquor from $1.04 for an airplane bottle. Also, new members can get $15 off their first order.
6. Nat Geo Wine
Take a world tour without leaving home with this quarterly wine subscription box. Each box costs $59.99 with $19.99 shipping. Twelve bottles of international wines will be delivered to your door every three months. Choose from subscriptions for white, red, or a mix of both wines. It’s important to note that the selection skews European, despite cultures worldwide having wine industries.
7. Plonk Wine Club
Go all natural with a monthly subscription of artisanal, minimal-intervention wines. Plonk Wine Club prides themself on not only their organic selections, but also their unique and rare options. Choose from 3-, 6-, or 12-month packages in red, white, or mixed. You can also select how many bottles you’d like to receive, from four, six, or 12 bottles monthly. For the most bang for your buck, we recommend 12-bottle packages since they work out to $23/bottle rather than $27/bottle.
If you’re looking more for a onetime order, you can create your own case with a minimum of six bottles. Individual bottles range in price from $26.75 to $33.75. Shipping is free, but it does take around two to five days. And if you sign up for emails, you can get 10% off your first order.
8. Tippsy Sake
This sake club will have you saying kanpai in no time. Every three months you’ll receive six seasonal bottles along with booklets on suggested pairings. Each order costs $99.
If you’re not quite ready to commit to six bottles, you can purchase individual bottles and gift sets as well. Single bottles start at $10.50.
Shipping usually takes two to three days; however, it can take six days for certain locations. Additionally, shipping isn’t available to Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, Michigan, Mississippi, Utah, or South Dakota.

9. Uber Eats
Besides food, Uber Eats delivers alcohol too. Their selection draws from local stores and restaurants near you, often within a five to 10 mile radius, though this can vary. They frequently have special discounts. For example, on Christmas Eve, we’ve seen them offer 30% off alcohol orders over $40, allowing customers a max discount of $20.
10. Winc
Wine not join an online wine club? Winc has something for everyone from sugar-free options to the bubbliest of bubblies. You can sign up for a subscription or purchase onetime gifts. Members get free shipping on any orders that contain four bottles. Otherwise, you’ll have to pay $9 for shipping. Prices vary depending on your order, but we’ve seen Winc offer deals like $29.95 for four bottles of wine.
We’re partial to the Around the World pack ($220, Winc) since it’s the most bang for your buck as far as onetime gifts go.
