Birkenstock Black Friday sales may be difficult to find, as the sandal manufacturer doesn’t offer dedicated Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales at their stores or online at Birkenstock.com. Even more, the brand requires authorized retailers to have a minimum advertised price that matches theirs for the newest products. (Last we checked, there were nearly 750 Birks on the list.) This means stores like REI, Dick’s Sporting Goods, DSW, and the like will only offer sales that coincide with Birkenstock retailer sales. If you’re shopping for new Birkenstock styles, you’ll probably strike out.

While that seems depressing, it doesn’t mean it’s impossible to find a good Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale on Birkenstock. There are other ways to uncover great deals when you know where to look, and Cyber Monday is as good a time as any to shop for Birkenstocks (the summer months are another idea). Expect to save just over 50% on Birkenstocks during the holiday season (maybe as much as 74%) when you shop at lesser-known sites.

Does the Birkenstock store hold a Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale?

No. Unfortunately, the Birkenstock store doesn’t ever offer Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales. So all their authorized retailers will be prohibited from including Birkenstocks in traditional Black Friday sales.

This includes Amazon. Birkenstock stopped selling their shoes on Amazon due to the rising number of counterfeits and unauthorized sellers. And while there are legit Birks for sale from third-party sellers on the site, you risk being scammed by fakes with jacked-up prices.

Where can I find the best Birkenstock Cyber Monday deals?

The best, most consistent place to locate a Birkenstock Cyber Monday deal is through online sellers. Since they aren’t authorized retailers, they’re not subject to minimum advertised pricing. You’ll find mostly out-of-season or discontinued Birkenstocks, but the savings are worth it.

Here are our guides to the most popular Birkenstock online retailers:

How much should I pay for Birkenstocks on Cyber Monday?

Birkenstocks typically retail for anywhere between $40 and $180, which is a pretty big range. This is because Birkenstocks are made with a ton of different materials from cheaper synthetics to more expensive natural materials. When determining whether or not it’s a good deal, don’t look at just the pricing, but rather the percentage saved.

In general, aim to save at least 40%. Though I’ve even seen some styles discounted by at least 80%.

How much do Birkenstocks cost?

Well, that depends on the style and material. There’s a lot of variation when it comes to Birks’ pricing. Natural materials like leather and fleece are going to cost more, while synthetic materials are cheaper. Hence the crazy variation in different styles’ prices. In general, these are the price ranges based on the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP):

That said, nobody likes paying the list price. Instead when shopping for Black Friday sales, think of the list price as a frame of reference for evaluating the deals you see. That way, when you see a sale, you can know just how much you’re really saving.

How much should I aim to pay for Birkenstocks?

Given the huge range in pricing, it’s hard to list just one target price for each style. Instead, think of savings in terms of percentage off the list price. Luckily, I did some research and found approximately how much you should aim to save for each style, based on last year’s discounts.

For sandals, aim to save at least 50%. For boots, aim to save a minimum of 40%. If you’re in the market for slippers aim to save about 25%. So basically, you’ll see the best savings on summer shoes than boots and slippers.
