What is it?
On the Jingit website, you can earn cash just by watching ads online or filling out surveys. With their app, you can also get paid by checking in at your local participating stores and scanning select products. When you scan a product, you'll have to watch a short video, but you’ll earn cash instantly.
Jingit also provides personalized cash-back offers for specific products when you log on to the app. You need to purchase these products within a certain time frame to get cash back. When you reserve the offers you want, Jingit will create your shopping list for you. Then just upload your receipt via the mobile app to redeem your offers. Your payment may take up to seven days to show up in your account.
Jingit caps your earning limit at $5 a week for new users. As you invite friends to join Jingit on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, you can increase your limit to $10 each week.
You can redeem the cash you earn on Jingit for music via Jingit's music.me service, or you can get a Jingit Visa Debit Card. The Visa card requires a one-time fee of $3.00 to set up. Then you can load your payments onto the card and make free cash withdrawals at any bank ATM or use the card anywhere Visa is accepted. There are no monthly service fees, overdraft fees or minimum balance.

My experience with Jingit
I decided to head out to Walmart to give the Jingit app a try. I signed up using Facebook and downloaded the app on my phone—all in less than a minute. Once I got to Walmart, I "checked in" and saw a few available products to scan. The first one I found was for Jell-O Temptations. Scanning was easy. I simply lined up the barcode with the camera on the screen, and the app automatically scanned it. I did this for a couple other products and in no time at all, I had already made $1.50!
I also purchased one of my reserved "offers," a 12-pack of A&W Ten Root Beer. The offer was for $1 cash back, so I figured I'd give it a try. Uploading the receipt wasn't as simple as scanning the barcode, and it took a little while to get the hang of it. You have to line the receipt up correctly and then click "upload." Luckily, the offer went through without a hitch and the payment hit my account within two days.
If you like getting paid for shopping (and who doesn't), Jingit is the app for you. You might not earn hundreds of dollars each month, but a few bucks here and there can certainly add up!
Note: The Jingit App is compatible with Apple devices running iOS 5 and up and Android devices running Android 2.3 and up.
