Wanting to do something festive for Valentine’s Day that doesn’t involve candy?
A number of different stores are offering free Valentine’s Day crafts that the kids will love to assemble.
Here’s who’s offering crafty freebies:
Home Depot Free Valentine Craft
Build a Valentine’s Day themed Tic-Tac-Toe game for free at Home Depot while supplies last.
The craft kits are expected to be available at the customer service desk starting Saturday, Feb. 6 — although call ahead to see if they’ve got the goods. And if you miss this one, no worries — they’re always doing kids crafts.
JCPenney Free Valentine Craft
From 11 AM to noon on Saturday, Feb. 13, JCPenney will have a free Valentine’s Day wooden heart craft available for kids to pick up while supplies last.
Kids get the craft, an ID badge, a lanyard, and a collector’s pin; parents get an extra 10% off coupon good in store and online.
JCP has kids’ crafts the second Saturday of every month.
JoAnn Free Valentine Craft
Craft store JoAnn will have a display of Valentine craft bags at their stores from 11 AM to 2 PM Saturday, Feb. 6, while supplies last.
Inside those craft bags will be everything you need to create a Valentine’s Day pennant. No purchase necessary.
Lowe’s Free Valentine Craft
Chances are, you’re already too late to get in on this craft; most stores’ registrations have filled up.
But if yours is still open, or you already signed up, you’ll be able to pick up a free heart vase craft kit from customer service on Saturday, Feb. 13, from opening until 8 PM.
