Being stuck at home has changed our priorities. Some of us are looking at our dogs more and think, “Puppers could use a pair of high-end boots.”
Well, Nordstrom has come to the rescue, launching UGG Boots for Dogs, and people are losing their minds.
Now your dog can get in on UGG season before it ends. Here’s what you need to know:
UGGs for dogs cost $80 a set (but have free shipping).
UGG has teamed up with dog apparel company Very Important Puppies (VIP) for these special boots.
UGG x VIP Dog Booties come in two colors — black with green fleece lining, and brown with orange fleece lining — and cost $80 a set.
So far, the boots don’t have great reviews.
There aren’t many reviews on Nordstrom.com, but so far, customers are complaining about the quality of the boots — from the faux sherpa material to the durability of the exterior.
But then again, an InStyle writer says it was “the greatest $80” they ever spent.
Also, dog parents say the boots run small.
Highly rated knockoffs are about $13 on Amazon.
Amazon shoppers are buying up 4-star-rated ZEKOO Dog Shoes, which have that Ugg look for a fraction of the price. They’re $12.99 per set, and of course come with free shipping for Prime members.
If those sell out (and they could), there are also PIHAPPY dog boots for about $17 with Prime free two-day shipping. Those are rated 3.5 stars.
Chewy.com also has highly-rated sherpa-lined “Duggz” for $27.99.
