Verizon Rewards: Get Free Stuff and 3% Back Each Month

If you’re a Verizon customer who loves FREEBIES, you'll want to check the My Verizon app before you pay for another coffee or concert ticket. Verizon's loyalty program has two parts; Verizon Shine and Verizon Dollars. For freebies, look to Verizon Shine, which includes daily drops (free weekly offers). With Verizon Dollars, you can score 3% back on eligible monthly mobile bills. Both programs are free to join in the My Verizon app.

Verizon Shine Freebies

Verizon Shine features rotating freebies like gift cards, merchandise, digital content, and event tickets in the My Verizon app (Android/Apple). New offers appear throughout the week, while a new Epic Wins sweepstakes opens every Monday.

How great are these freebie offers? You’ll find everything from $5 Amazon gift cards to free merchandise worth hundreds of dollars. Recently, a KCL team member was lucky enough to grab a $200 JBL speaker completely FREE!

To find your offers, sign in to the My Verizon app and scroll to Verizon Shine. Every Monday, you can see what offerings are coming up for that current week and when each one can be claimed. 

Daily Drops have limited quantities and are claimed on a first-come, first-served basis, so set an alarm and be ready when the countdown ends at 3:01 p.m. ET. There’s no limit on how many Daily Drops you can claim. However, you can claim only one of each.

Once you’ve claimed a Daily Drop, you’ll need to redeem it before it expires. You’ll find your freebie under your Verizon Shine history, which is at the bottom of the Verizon Shine page. Click your Daily Drop and follow the instructions on how to redeem it.

Verizon Shine is valid for all customers 18+ who have an active monthly mobile or home internet account. 

Verizon Dollars Get You 3% Back

If you have a standard monthly mobile or wireless home internet plan, you can also join Verizon Dollars in the My Verizon app. Once enrolled, you’ll earn 3% cash back in Verizon Dollars when you pay your monthly mobile bill on time. Note, you must pay the entire amount due on your phone bill to earn cash back.

Cash back rewards typically appear within 10 days after the bill period closes. You can redeem Verizon Dollars on gift cards, devices, accessories, hotels, and more. Verizon Visa cardholders have additional redemption options, including applying rewards toward eligible bills.

Sorry, but Fios and prepaid services aren’t eligible to earn Verizon Dollars.
