Walmart is queen not only of the Black Friday sale, but of early Black Friday sales. Since 2020, Walmart has released multiple waves of official Black Friday deals in several-day chunks. And in some cases, the deals that came around during the first wave didn't come back during the second.
Now that Walmart has officially announced their plans for the 2025 sale, here what to expect so that you're ready for every single wave of deals.
Here are the most important dates you need to know for 2025:

Nov. 14 - 16: First wave of Black Friday deals, online and in stores (Walmart+ members can shop starting at 7 p.m. ET on Nov. 13)

Tips on How to Make Your Deal Shopping a Success

Shopping Options: Deals are available both online and in stores. Most items go live online several days before they hit stores.

Special Buys and Doorbusters: Walmart no longer has traditional doorbusters. Look for items labeled “Special Buy” — these are limited-quantity deals that drop online first and sell out quickly.

Membership Perks: Walmart+ members get five hours of early access to online deals. This is only necessary if you’re chasing restocks or high-demand items.
