We’ve seen a lot of tried-and-true brands add new flavors and products to their lineups already this year. From International Delight’s Pop Tarts flavored coffee creamer to Oreo-flavored Oreos, we’re seeing brands introduce new, promotional, and seasonal goodies to get you into stores and shopping. Dr Pepper is the next on this list, introducing a new soda. Hitting stores this month is the Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream flavor.

The original Dr Pepper is made up of 23 flavors. While nobody but Dr Pepper knows the true blend of flavors, there are some pretty out-there rumored additions like tomato, carrot, and clove. While these flavors sound odd for a soda, it creates Dr Pepper’s unmistakable taste that has been selling on store shelves since 1885.

If you’ve been eagerly awaiting a new Dr Pepper flavor, the wait is over. This new flavor hit store shelves on Feb. 1 and is available in regular and zero sugar. We’ve seen it available at Walmart, Kroger, and through Instacart. But you can also expect to see it on shelves at Target, Publix, Wegmans, and a handful of other big grocery retailers across the U.S. this week. Just check your local stores for availability.

Don’t pay more than $4 for a 12-pack.

You’ll find the Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream in 12-ounce cans and 20-ounce bottles. The Strawberries & Cream Zero Sugar will be available only in 12-ounce cans. Prices will vary by location, but we’ve seen non-sale prices ranging from $6.48 to $8.99 for a box of 12 cans. But you can absolutely do better than that. Using your RedCard and Ibotta, you can regularly get 12-packs of soda at Target for $3 to $4, which works out to $0.25 to $0.33 per can. Sometimes Target even discounts 12-packs of select soda for under $2, and that’s when you should pounce.

Kroger and Dollar General also offer deals on select soda brands that work out to $3 to $4 per 12-pack. Kroger often requires that you buy multiple to get the deal (like 3 for $10) but Dollar General’s $3 price works on just one 12-pack and also hits that $0.25 per can we strive for!

Walgreens is another destination for this new Dr Pepper flavor. They often have 3 for $11 deals on soda 12-packs. Sometimes you can snag soda coupons to get you an even lower price. But Walgreens, like Kroger, does usually require you to buy multiples to get the lower price.

This is not a limited-time flavor.
