Walmart is gearing up for the holiday season by rolling out some awesome features designed to make shopping easier.

This week they announced they would be making some changes to both their brick and mortar store and their website.

Skip the register by checking out with associates spread throughout the store.

Starting Nov. 1, Walmart stores will start using a new system called Check Out With Me.

You will be able to find Walmart associates around the store in busy departments, where they will scan your items and check you out right there. All you have to do is swipe your card and you’ll be on your way.

Finally — Walmart has individual store maps on its app.

This is such a great new feature when you’re wandering around lost in an unfamiliar Walmart.

You can now look at an individual store map through the app, search for an item, and be shown exactly where it is.

Marketplace items will be able to be returned in store.

Walmart allows third-party retailers, or Marketplace sellers, to sell their products on the Walmart website, but returns weren’t the same as their own products and couldn’t be returned in store.

This week, Walmart just announced that starting in the middle of November, you WILL be able to return those items to your local Walmart.

More items will be available for 2-day shipping at Walmart.com.

Millions of items will be available for free 2-day shipping this holiday season from Walmart.com and its Marketplace sellers.
