Walmart’s low prices are pretty darn great as most prices continue to rise. But freebies like Walmart free shipping and Walmart free delivery are even greater because free beats cheap any day. Never shop there without taking advantage of these Walmart freebies and hidden ways to get money back on your next purchase. From rebates to gift cards to moneymakers and beyond, let’s take a look at how you can avoid inflation at the register with some free stuff from Walmart.

1. Combine Ibotta deals with Walmart’s rollback prices for free soda and more.

One of the easiest ways to grab Walmart freebies is to use Ibotta rebates with Walmart’s rollback prices. Here’s an example:
Submit one $1.25/1 – Pepsi Zero Sugar, 2-Liter bottle, Ibotta Rebate
Pay $1.25, submit for $1.25 Ibotta credit
Final Price: Free
And that’s just the beginning. I’ve gotten Walmart freebies through Ibotta on major brands like Starbucks, Pringles, Pure Leaf, and Annie’s. Walmart and Ibotta have also partnered up, so rebates will go right to your Walmart account.

2. Combine coupons with clearance makeup for an instant freebie (or moneymaker).

Makeup is one of the things I can often find coupons or deals for, and I combine them with Walmart clearance prices to get a free product. For example:
Use one $2.00/1 – Rimmel Eye Product (coupons.com)
Final Price: Free
Look for these freebies on items like makeup, body wash, and hand soap.
I’ve also found a deal at Walmart where Covergirl mascara was on clearance for $1, and I combined it with a $2 off Covergirl mascara coupon. The result was a $1 moneymaker, which was applied to the rest of the items I bought!
3. Take advantage of free gift card deals at Walmart.

Walmart will often offer deals on specific brands for a free digital gift card. Just buy a certain amount of a product and boom! Free gift card.
I’ve seen Walmart gift card deals on sports drinks, baby formula, diapers, wellness products, and humidifiers. Definitely stack these with Ibotta rebates or coupons for even more savings.

4. Earn free Walmart gift cards with Ibotta.

You can earn Walmart gift cards with the cash-back app Ibotta when you buy specific products at stores like Walmart. Once you’ve earned the minimum $20 required for a payout, you can receive your cash back with gift cards from places like Walmart, Bath & Body Works, Home Depot, Ulta, and Panera. This is definitely one of the easiest ways to score free Walmart gift cards.

5. Use Walmart’s grocery pickup for free.

Walmart grocery pickup doesn’t add any extra cost to your order. Just make your order online or through the Walmart app and select “Grocery Pickup.”
Since you can’t use coupons with Walmart grocery pickup, you’re better off using a rebate app to save more. Pickup orders don’t include a physical receipt, but there are still ways to get your rebates.
You can link Ibotta with Walmart Pickup to get your rebates automatically, no receipt required.
6. Get a 30-day Walmart Plus free trial that includes free shipping and more.

If you haven’t tried out the Walmart Plus subscription service, start a Walmart Plus free trial for 30 days. If you’re not a fan, just cancel before the trial wraps up. The service offers free shipping with no minimums, plus Walmart free delivery on orders over $35.
TIP: When you shop at Walmart.com, even without a Walmart Plus subscription, all your orders $35 and over qualify for free shipping.
7. Use BOGO coupons for free household essentials.

Taking advantage of BOGO coupons is a good way to stock up on household items like snacks, pet food, and toiletries.
Use one B1G1 FREE – Gillette Invisible Solid, up to $5.49 (excludes trial/travel size) from P&G
Final Price: $2.74 each, when you buy 2
8. Create a baby registry and get a Walmart free baby box filled with goodies.

If you’re expecting a little one, create a baby registry at Walmart and they’ll send you a free baby box filled with brand samples from Huggies, Enfamil, Johnsons, Dreft, and Dr. Browns.
And after you request your baby welcome box, you’ll get an email opt-in when you’re in your third trimester to receive a free Postpartum Care box with freebies from brands like Poise, Depend, Palmers, and Frida.
