This shopping event lasts two days and it’s a great time to buy anything you couldn’t get during earlier sales. Keep in mind, when it comes to Best Buy, don’t expect better discounts with their Cyber Monday than Black Friday. We’ll get into the details of why in a bit.

Best Buy Cyber Monday is an annual two-day event with big price cuts on electronics.
Best Buy Cyber Monday is the online-only sale at BestBuy.com that actually is a two-day sale. During this sale, shoppers see up to 50% off regular prices for Apple, Samsung, Microsoft and Amazon products. The event takes place right after Best Buy Black Friday, which takes place in stores and online.
KCL predicts the next Best Buy Cyber Monday Sale will begin Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024.
Best Buy hasn’t officially announced the next date for their Cyber Monday Sale, but based on what they've done in recent years, we here at KCL predict that it’ll take place on Sunday and Monday, Dec. 1 and 2.
How do we make our prediction?
Best Buy historically has their Cyber Monday Sale for two days — starting the day before Cyber Monday. And since Cyber Monday is always the Monday after Thanksgiving, that’s how we arrived at our Dec. 1-2 prediction.
Customers got hundreds of dollars off iPhone, Macbook, and more during Best Buy Cyber Monday.
We saw savings up to 50% during Best Buy Cyber Monday in 2022, sometimes more. We’re expecting to see deals that look like this in 2023:
iPhone 13 Pro – up to $900 off (with activation)
Macbook Pro – select models up to $500 off
Macbook Air – select models up to $150 off
Windows Laptops – up to $500 off
Samsung Laptops – up to $500 off
Smart TVs – select models up to $450 off
Samsung Galaxy Z Series – up to $400 off
Surface Devices – select items up to $400 off
iPad Pro – select models up to $200 off
Small Kitchen Appliances – select items up to 50% off
Ring Security Products – select items up to 30% off
Use the Best Buy price match guarantee — even during Cyber Monday.
The Best Buy Price Match Guarantee includes both price matching with competitors and price adjusting with Best Buy’s own prices. Normally, the guarantee works within the normal Best Buy return policy: you get 15 days from the time of your purchase if you’re not a My Best Buy member. But during the holidays, this policy gets a big boost.
Last year, anything you purchased from Oct. 18, 2022 through Jan. 2, 2023 (unless it’s on the list of exclusions) could be returned through Jan. 16, 2023. That means you could have shopped the Best Buy Black Friday deals, bought all of your holiday gifts, and then sat back and watched for the price to drop until mid-January. The only days not included in the policy were the Friday before Thanksgiving Day through the Monday after Thanksgiving.
If the price did happen to drop on an item, you got reimbursed automatically if you’re a member of My Best Buy or the Best Buy Totaltech program.
If you’re not spending at least $35, opt for Best Buy pickup.
You’ll get free next-day delivery on qualifying items of $35 or more at Best Buy. Free standard shipping is also available on orders of $35 or more. But if you aren’t spending that much, just choose free in-store or curbside pickup instead.
Place your order by 2 p.m. to get Best Buy same-day delivery.
In years past, you could get Cyber Monday purchases faster than ever with Best Buy same-day delivery and free curbside pickup.
As long as you placed your order by 2 p.m., you’d receive it by 8 p.m. Anything ordered after that was eligible for free next-day delivery, which still rocks.
Check to see if Best Buy’s same-day delivery is available in your area; then simply add the option at checkout and you’ll be good to go.
Best Buy Cyber Monday isn’t better than Black Friday. Buy when you see a hot deal!
Best Buy Cyber Monday discounts, while good, aren’t necessarily better than Black Friday at Best Buy. The smartest strategy is to purchase the Best Buy electronics on your list when you see them at a price point you like. Don’t wait for Cyber Monday expecting lower prices. You may be disappointed.
Here’s a good example: one of the Insignia 55″ Smart TVs was on sale during Best Buy Black Friday for 45% off. But the same brand and size of TV on Cyber Monday was only 38% off.
