Old Navy’s Big Friday Sale is an annual, roughly weeklong event with 50% off everything.
Old Navy’s Black Friday sale, known as “Big Friday,” runs for the better part of a week. In 2024, it ran from the day before Thanksgiving Day to the day after Cyber Monday. In previous years, it's been a bit shorter, running Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday. There are lots of discounts throughout the store, and there's a massive 50% off sale that happens online at OldNavy.com. The Old Navy 2024 Big Friday Sale ran Nov. 27 - Dec. 3, 2024.

How do we make our prediction?
In recent years, the Old Navy Big Friday Sale has taken place during the days between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday. In 2024, it started a day earlier and ended a day later.
2024: Wednesday, Nov. 27 - Tuesday Dec. 3 (Stores closed Thanksgiving)
2023: Thursday, Nov. 23 - Monday, Nov. 26 (In-store deals started Nov. 24.)
2022: Thursday, Nov. 24 - Monday, Nov. 28 (In-store deals started Nov. 25.)
2021: Thursday, Nov. 25 - Monday, Nov. 29 (In-store deals started Nov. 26.)
Depending on location, stores opened at 5 a.m. or 6 a.m. on Black Friday and were open until 11 p.m.
The 50% off everything promotion is online only, while select deals under $10 deals are in store only.
Confused? I've got you. This sale runs both in store and online, but the deals differ. You'll see 50% off everything online only. But you'll see the super-cheap deals — $2 socks, $5 PJ pants — in stores.
So shop online when the sale kicks off to get half off the entire store. And then make an appearance in store on Black Friday (and the days following) to grab the extra-cheap specials.
Typically, Black Friday Old Navy deals are available both in store and online, with online-only deals starting the day before Thanksgiving in-store deals running Friday through Cyber Monday. And look for in-store-only exclusives like $2 cozy socks.
While Old Navy doesn't call them doorbusters, the in-store deals certainly seem like it.
With Black Friday sales moving online, doorbusters have become a thing of the past. But Old Navy offering $5 pajama pants from 5 a.m. to noon only for in-store shoppers sounds a lot like a doorbuster to me. So while Old Navy has retired the doorbusters phrase, I consider these doorbuster deals.
I do recommend getting to the sale early if you have a specific print in mind (like the viral Pink Gingerbread jammies) because popular prints will sell out.
Old Navy Card holders often get early access to the deals.
Old Navy Navyist Credit Card holders get access to the 50% off sale online earlier than non-card holders. Watch for a Black Friday pre-sale the week before Thanksgiving (so around Nov. 18) where cardholders get 50% off their entire purchase when they pay with a Navyist credit card.
Old Navy extends their return window to 45 days when you shop from Nov. 1 - Dec. 24.
If we see their holiday return policy again in 2025, you can expect the following:
If you buy any item between Nov. 1 and Dec. 24, you can return it by Jan. 15 or 30 days after your purchase — whichever is later.
If you’re returning an online item through the mail, know that Old Navy has to get it by Jan. 15 or 30 days after purchase — whichever is later.
Keep in mind that it’ll take at least five to seven days for your items to reach them via mail — plan accordingly.
Old Navy Cyber Monday 2024 deals are basically an extension of Black Friday deals.
We don't see any extra big surprise deals during the Old Navy Cyber Monday sale. You'll continue to see the same 50% off online that was available during Black Friday. They may add some new arrivals to the sale that you can get at the 50% discount, but don't expect bigger savings or free shipping by waiting. Shop early in the weekend to get items before they sell out.
