Cost Plus World Market — go for the throw pillows. Leave with a new set of highball glasses, a headboard, and lavendar rosemary bath salts.

Here’s how to save so you don’t have to stop.

1. Join the free loyalty program for 15% off coupons and 5% back in rewards on every purchase.

World Market Explorer members get exclusive discounts including $10 back on every $200 spent. That’s like 5% cash back.

Sign up in-store with just your phone number and then finish registering online for a 15% off coupon. Your member ID is your phone number.

2. Buy six bags of coffee and get one free.

Sadly, World Market ended their BOGO deal on coffee. But if you’re a World Market Explorer, you’ll still get a free bag of coffee for every six bags of coffee you buy.

Keep an eye out for this deal to come back where every Wednesday you can buy three bags and get three free, plus a coupon for a free bag.

3. World Market accepts manufacturer coupons.

World Market accepts manufacturer coupons. You can always find Torani coupons, Kettle Chips coupons, Haribo coupons, Frontera coupons, and others here at KCL.

4. Buy four or more bottles of wine and save 10%. Every day.

As a World Market Explorer, you get 10% off when you buy four or more bottles of wine (which includes sale wines!) You can mix and match your wine choices.

5. Get 30% off wine at World Market’s bi-annual case sale.

Twice a year — in January or February and June or July — World Market hosts a case sale where members can get 30% off select cases of 12 wines or more.

6. Best time to buy food is when it hits 55% off.

As food items approach their expiration dates, they get marked 55% off, which is the lowest markdown you’ll ever see.

7. Save 10% when you mix and match beer to create your own six pack.

Mix and match your favorite international beers, and save 10% on the six pack.

8. Clearance items have a red or orange tag that ends in 8.

Once an item is marked on clearance, expect it to remain at that price for about a month before dropping again. Second markdowns on same product are infrequent.

9. Shop Thursdays for new clearance markdowns.

The national markdown list is distributed to stores every Thursday morning. Most frequently, markdowns happen same day. In some cases, markdowns may also take place on Fridays.
