Did you receive bottles of red wine as a holiday or hostess gift during the holiday season? It can be awkward to receive wine as a gift when you aren’t a wine drinker (or when you are given a bottle that you wouldn’t normally choose).

Instead of throwing the bottles out or allowing them to collect dust in the pantry, why not use the red wine for some beauty treatments for your face?

Red wine contains resveratrol, a powerful antioxidant with anti-aging, de-stessing, and anti-inflammatory properties for your skin. Also, the positive and negative ions found in red wine provide a supply of oxygen into the skin that produces a glowing, tightened appearance. Homemade beauty junkies will definitely lift their proverbial glasses and say “cheers” to these three easy DIY red wine face mask recipes!
