JetBlue, the well-regarded, no-frills airline, based in New York, is starting new service this winter to the Caribbean, Costa Rica and West Palm Beach from a variety of cities, and they are celebrating this expansion with some really good airfares, up to 45 percent off of the existing fares. Granted, the ch0ices are  limited, but if you were planning a winter trip, this just might be the deal you’ve been waiting for. The new routes and start dates are as follows:

  • Westchester County, NY and Nassau, Bahamas starts November 15, 2011
  • New York City (JFK) and Liberia, Costa Rica starts November 17, 2011
  • New York City (JFK) and La Romana, Dominican Republic starts November 16, 2011
  • San Juan, PR and St Maarten starts November 17, 2011
  • San Juan, PR and St Thomas, USVI starts December 12, 2011
  • San Juan, PR and St. Croix, USVI starts December 12, 2011
  • Boston and St. Thomas starts December 15, 2011
  • Hartford and San Juan, PR starts January 5, 2012
  • Hartford and West Palm Beach, FL starts January 12, 2012

Airfares are non-transferable and non-refundable once purchased and must be booked and paid for at least 14 days in advance. Travel dates vary by destination, but all expire by March 31, 2012.
