Was worried about purchasing these because I saw reviews of other black silverware that said they chipped and looked terrible after a few washes. Happy to say that is not what I experienced, they are pretty and sturdy although a little lighter than average. Very happy with purchase.
I bought this set of flatware because it is beautiful and because of the reviews. I could NOT be happier! They are a great weight, not too light and not too heavy. The knives are almost sharp enough to be steak knives, definitely get the job done for hard butter, pork chops, and stubborn bagels. If you’re looking, you’re also looking at the reviews to convince you. I hope you read this one. Buy this set!
For the price, it’s a good set. It does leave watermarks no matter how you wash it so it always looks dirty. I have put them through the dishwasher multiple times and the coating hasn’t come off yet. We will see over time.
