That’s why I suggest keeping an eye out for tags ending in 0, 7, or 9, indicating 80% off on brands like Carters. Grab them when you see these tags since it’s an all-time low price. Clearance items are marked down according to JCPenney’s corporate direction until they reach 80% off. From there, the store manager or pricing team determines the item’s price.

If you buy an item and see it advertised at a lower price within 14 days, JCPenney will refund the difference. Just bring in the local competitor ad, and a customer service representative will assist you. Similarly, if the price of an item drops while you’re shopping at JCPenney within that 14-day window, you can request an adjustment.
