How to Get the Deals
Whether you need cereal, toothpaste, razors, or more, Dollar General is the place to shop on Saturday, Aug. 2. We've got some scenarios showing how you can use a $5 off $25 store coupon to get brands like Gillette, Kellogg's, Crest, and more for cheap.
Note: The $5 off $25 coupon acts as a store discount to take an even amount off each dollar you spend (before coupons). Basically, this means the value of some manufacturer coupons may adjust down at checkout to meet the new discounted price of the item (because Dollar General doesn't give overage). No coupons are adjusting down in these scenarios. However, we've seen some discrepancies across store locations as to how discounts are applied, so leave some wiggle room for what your actual final price will be.
Your myDG Wallet account will give you access to coupons, cash back rebates, and personalized offers. If you've got questions, take a look at our guide to couponing at Dollar General.
