K-Y wasn’t originally designed for OTC adult use…it was first created as a surgical lubricant for use by physicians all the way back in 1904. 1. Prevent chafing during workouts.
Smooth on some K-Y at all points where chafing occurs (such as thighs, heels, and underarms). Reapply as needed.
2. Smooth down hair frizz.
3. Use it as shaving cream.

4. Unlock frozen door and padlocks.
Apply a thin film of K-Y to the key, then insert it into the lock. It will open right away.

6. Loosen stuck rings.
7. Make a Valentine’s Day snow globe.
Create heart designs with pipe cleaners, and hot glue their stems to the bottom of an empty jar’s lid. Fill the empty jar halfway with water and top it off with K-Y Jelly.
Shake to incorporate. Add glitter and heart-shaped foam cutouts to the gel mixture. Then, slowly screw on the lid. The K-Y will help the glitter sink and rise slowly when shaken.
8. Condition and shine leather.
Use a soft cloth and a bit of K-Y Jelly to condition leather items like shoes and purses. It works especially well for shining patent leather!
9. Moisturize a dry nose and lips.
Have a cold, but no lip balm on hand? Apply to the dry areas on your face for instant softness.
