I still love the dishes I registered for when I got married. But after seven years of wedded steaks, baked potatoes and chicken marsala, the honeymoon is over and my plates show it. Since purchasing new dinnerware isn’t in the budget, I desperately went in search of a way to give my porcelain a facelift!

That is when I heard about Bar Keepers Friend. Available in both liquid and powder formulas, Bar Keepers Friend Cleanser is the secret superhero of the cleaning world! It cleans copper, stainless steel, and porcelain. If you want your aging dinnerware to look new again, look no further!

You’ll need:

  • 1 bottle of Bar Keepers Friend liquid or powder cleanser ($5.99 at Walmart)
  • 1 clean, damp sponge
  • good old-fashioned elbow grease

Now, I’m not gonna lie and tell you that the cleanser did all the work. I had to really scrub for about three minutes per plate (just think of this as your cardio for the day), but the results were incredible! Rinsing never gave such satisfaction!

Don’t forget that when you are done, Bar Keeper’s Friend is great for cleaning bathrooms, sinks and pans, or so I am told. If we’re all being honest, I’m taking a few days to recover from all the plate-scrubbing. I’ll report on my pots and sink another day!
