Whenever I polish furniture I typically look to the usual suspects to do the job. Brands such as Pledge, Old English or Orange Glo are usually my go-to cleaning agents, but sometimes I prefer to use more natural methods of cleaning, as well as save a few bucks! Fortunately, if you have a bit of tea in your kitchen, you can forget about buying pricey polishes. To clean your wood furniture with tea, simply brew a pot with loose tea or tea bags and allow the tea to cool. Next, dip a soft cloth into the tea and use it to polish the wood items! Buff away any streaks with a soft clean cloth, and you’re done! The tea gives the wood a like-new shine while removing dirt and grease.
