Oct. 9: BrucePac is recalling ready-to-eat meat and poultry products due to possible Listeria contamination.

Product(s) affected: About 10 million pounds of ready-to-eat meat (beef patties and fajita strips) and poultry products (breasts, strips, patties, and diced) produced from June 19, 2024 - Oct. 8, 2024. They have establishment numbers 51205 or P-51205 inside or under the USDA mark. Products were shipped to distributors, retailers, restaurants, institutions, and other food establishments. July 30: Boar's Head is recalling deli meats, packaged meat, and poultry products due to potential listeria contamination. This is in addition to the 207,528 pounds recalled on July 26.

Affected product(s): 7 million pounds of Boar's Head and Old Country brand deli meats (ham, beef, liverwurst, bologna, and more), plus packaged meat (skinless beef franks, Canadian style bacon, and more), and poultry products sold at stores nationwide. There are 71 products on the new recall list. Affected meats were produced at a Boar's Head plant in Jarratt, VA, between May 10 - July 29, 2024. They have sell-by dates that range from July 29 - Oct. 17.

Boar's Head Deli Meat

July 26: Boar's Head Provisions Co., Inc. is recalling all liverwurst products and other deli meats due to possible listeria contamination.

Affected product(s): About 207,528 pounds of liverwurst and deli meats produced from June 11 - July 17, 2024 (with a 44-day shelf life). The product labels have the establishment number “EST. 12612” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

These products were shipped to retail deli locations nationwide.

The affected Liverwurst products were sold in 3.5-pound loaves in plastic casing or in various packages (sliced and sold) in retail delis. Label has "Boar’s Head Strassburger Brand Liverwurst MADE IN VIRGINIA." The sell by dates range from July 25 - Aug. 30, 2024 (which is printed on the side of the packaging).

Affected product(s): About 2,010 pounds frozen ready-to-eat chicken products shipped to retailers nationwide:

  • Al-Safa Halal Charcoal Grilled Chicken Seekh Kebab Grilled, Minced, Chicken Patty Kebab, 12.1-ounce box, with NOV 30 25 and 0605404 printed on a sticker (outside of the package)

  • Al-Safa Halal Fully Cooked Chicken Chapli Kebab Seasoned Chicken Patty, 14.11-ounce box, with NOV 30 25 and 0605416 printed on a sticker (outside of the package)

Both products have the establishment number 866 inside the Canadian mark of inspection.

What to do if you have the product(s): Don't consume. Discard or return product(s) to place of purchase.

July 3: Hatch Baby Inc. (Palo Alto, CA) is recalling the Hatch Baby Rest (1st Generation) Sound Machine power adapters because the power adapter on some units can come off when unplugging the sound machine from a wall outlet, leaving the power prongs exposed, posing a potential shock hazard.

Affected product(s): About 919,400 Hatch Baby Rest (1st Generation) Sound Machines power adapters with the model number CYAP05 050100U. You can find the model number and other identifying info (1.0A, Jiangsu Chenyang Electron Co. LTD, Made in China) printed in black near the power prongs. These sound machines were sold at Amazon.com, Best Buy, Buy Buy Baby, Hatch.co, Nordstrom, Pottery Barn Kids, Target, and Walmart between Jan. 2019 - May 2024.

What to do if you have the product(s): Stop using the product(s) immediately. Contact Hatch for instructions on how to get a free replacement adapter.
