Every year on July 24, restaurants, including Jack in the Box, offer drive-thru-only freebies, discounts, and deals. Some, like Chick-fil-A, even have giveaways.

Jack in the Box first initiated the creation of National Drive-Thru Day in 2002 as a way to recognize all drive-thru businesses. At the time, they suggested that the date be celebrated annually on July 28. However, the date was changed to July 24 in 2006 (it’s rumored that the change was made because another national food holiday, National Hamburger Day (now recognized on May 28 each year), also fell on July 24, and they didn’t want to overlap the two).

National Drive-Thru Day Deals 2025
Chick-fil-A: Some Chick-fil-A locations are holding National Drive-Thru Day giveaways on Thursday, July 24. Here are a few we found that are participating. These deals are only available in the drive-thru.
Chick-fil-A, Benbrook, TX: Starting at noon, you can get a Chick-fil-A Sauce tote bag when you make a drive-thru or drive-thru mobile order of $10 or more. Limit one tote per vehicle, per visit. To redeem the offer again, you must re-enter the drive-thru line and make another purchase of $10 or more.
Chick-fil-A, Waycross, GA: Get in the drive thru line between the hours of 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. for your chance to get a Golden Ticket that’ll get you FREE Chick-fil-A for the rest of the year.
Chick-fil-A, Germantown Town Center, MD: Wear a Hawaiian shirt while in the drive-thru (between 5 a.m. - 10 p.m.), and you’ll get a Pineapple Dragon Fruit Beverage added to your order for FREE. Limit one per transaction.
Chick-fil-A, Columbia St., Milledgeville, GA: This location is holding various drive-thru-only giveaways throughout National Drive-Thru Day (while supplies last).
6:30 - 9 a.m.: Every 50th car will get a FREE coffee mug
9 - 10 a.m.: Get a FREE lunch entree card with a drive-thru mobile order (one per car)
10 a.m. - noon: Every 50th car will get a FREE Chick-fil-A water bottle.
Noon - 1 p.m.: Get a FREE Breakfast entree card with drive-thru mobile order (one per car).
1 - 3 p.m.: Every 50th car will get a FREE Chick-fil-A tote bag.
3 - 6 p.m.: Every 50th car will get a FREE hat.
6 - 7 p.m.: Get a FREE Breakfast entree card with a drive-thru mobile order (one per car).
7 - 9 p.m.: Get one Chick-fil-A sticker for every drive-thru mobile order (one per car).
Chick-fil-A: While this National Drive-Thru Day deal is the day after the food holiday, it's worth checking out if you live near the Chick-fil-A Lee Vista in Orlando, FL.
On Friday, July 25, they're giving away a blind bag to each of the first 200 cars to go through their drive thru between noon - 1 p.m. ET. The contents may vary. However, every bag will have a Be Our Guest card with a digital offer (ranges from a free dessert to a free meal). Other blind bag goodies you might get include treats, two Chick-fil-A merch surprises (think a plush Chick-fil-A cow, a CFA lanyard, or keychain). Four of the blind bags will have a grand prize catering tray (worth $45). Limit one free blind bag per car.
Del Taco: Del Yeah Rewards members can save 20% on (max $10 off) any Del Taco purchase all week, starting on National Drive-Thru Day. Offer valid for online or in-app orders from July 24 - 30. You’ll find the offer in your rewards account. Limit one offer per guest.
Dunkin’: This year, Dunkin’ Rewards members will earn 150 bonus points on drive-thru orders (National Drive-Thru Day).
Fazoli’s: Celebrate National Drive-Thru Day (July 24) with a BOGO deal on Fazoli's spaghetti with marinara or meat sauce when you use promo code BOGO25 at checkout online or in-app. Offer valid from July 24 - 29.
Jack in the Box: On National Drive-Thru Day (July 24), Jack Pack members can score a FREE Jr. Jumbo Jack or Jr. Chicken sandwich at Jack in the Box when they order $5 or more online or in-app.
